Homehealth care agencies across the country are fighting lower reimbursements and staffing crisis while caring for their patients. The first penalty on failure to submit a RAP timely would be equivalent to 17% of the episodic payment, and in case of a LUPA, all visits performed prior to the submission of the RAP will not be reimbursed.
