The mission of the Wilmington Fire Department shall be to preserve life and property in the Wilmington area and to promote fire prevention through public education.
We answer emergency calls throughout the year, ranging from minor medical problems to structure fires. We are a combination department made up of full time employees, part time employees and volunteers.
As a Fire department in Wilmington we work hand in hand assisting other agencies in Wilmington as needed to assure all Wilmington residents are provided the best help possible.
