Postharvest Storage

Record storage structures

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

The Postharvest Storage app collects localised information on the type of storage farmers use for the produce they harvest and keep. Because food has to be stored between harvest and consumption, it is very important to understand how it is stored, in order to improve storage conditions and reduce the losses that can take place during storage. This app allows its users, once they have found a storage structure or storage site, to capture detailed information on storage structures or technology, that are mapped so the distribution of storage types can be better understood. Fill in one survey for each storage structure you locate - if a farmer has several structures, submit one survey for each.
