At Ingersoll Rand, we believe taking total control of and understanding the fastening process doesn’t have to be complicated. The INSIGHT Connect mobile app will add mobility and further enhance the simplicity and flexibility of Ingersoll Rand QX Connect Series™ cordless assembly tools.
Manufacturers in the motor vehicle, heavy truck and bus, appliance, heavy equipment, aerospace and other manufacturing industries rely on Ingersoll Rand QX Connect Series tools to control torque, angle and speed in a myriad of fastening applications. Now, with the INSIGHT Connect app, technicians can stay productive, and mobile, on the plant floor without the need for additional technical training, special software, plant network permissions or a laptop computer. Working from a smartphone or tablet, operators can use the app to quickly program the torque and angle control configurations on these closed-loop, transducerized tools.
Once installed, the INSIGHT Connect app can operate offline, so it can function in large facilities where internet-signal loss may be a problem, mitigating downtime in manufacturing settings where productivity and time savings are essential.
You can quickly perform key tasks with your device:
· Connect and get real time results from tool via Bluetooth.
· Program Prevailing Torque strategy and multi step advanced strategies
for up to 32 Psets.
· Back-up and Restore the tool (Clone)
· Save and Load Pset
· Retrieve & Share tool logs
· Retrieve Error Codes and descriptions.
· Information about the tool
· Factory Reset your tool
· Analysis of tool usage and tool run statistics
· Calibration for the tool to improve capability and accuracy.
· Upgrade Firmware and software of your tool over Bluetooth with the file
received from Ingersoll Rand over email.
· Create a Virtual Pset/configuration and share to program tools remotely.
