Iv tried , and even got the subscription for this. It does not work, first off the sync video feature does not work and both parties will be in separate places in the movie or show, second off you cannot open your video when watching the movie. As well as you can’t airplay to your tv even. The idea is there , but if it doesn’t work it don’t matter. I tried hosting on my iPhone 16 pro max and then joining it on my iPhone 11 , but all the issues above were present . I wish they took the time to make this work. Also if one person has the subscription, party members shouldn’t need to subscribe , 2/5 stars and that’s being generous.

Thanks for your detailed feedback – we really appreciate it.Only the room host needs a subscription – friends can join for free.Video chat is currently disabled during Netflix viewing due to platform restrictions,but it works normally with YouTube and other supported content.We’re also actively improving sync and AirPlay features.For help or suggestions – reach us at support@wever.me

Wever is one of the best apps that I have used to watch movies with friends when we’re not together! There are so many movies to watch! You don’t have to pay, just create a private room, pick a movie, and boom!

Love it but it constantly glitches out on my phone and I know it’s not my wifi because I had my wifi checked, it randomly kicks me out and then the screen goes black???
