Members of our community who had taken up golf actively met in 1997 to form a society in order to promote golf amongst our community members (everyone was welcome whatever their playing ability). Foundation was laid and under the patronage of Mohib Chagpar, our first society golf day was held at Ruislip Golf Club in September 1997.
Since the early days, JGS has come a long way with 4 annual society days held in different parts of England along with a doubles knockout matchplay competition. Our members have been enjoying some of the finest courses and we endeavour to provide challenging courses in the future. Membership has grown steadily and so has the standard of playing ability amongst the participants. JGS aim to carry on encouraging new members to participate and forge long lasting friendships.
