Windrest Barrow is a cozy little snow town on the Timberpoint River. Covered in snow ten months out of the year, the other two months it spends covered in mud from the snow melt that still hasn't quite dried. Locals while away the hours watching boats try to make it under the deceptively small bridge. They've considered hanging a sign displaying the clearance height, but it's just too fun to watch the boats hit the bridge.

The Chateau at Mythwood Fjord was built for the King's nephew, Maurice. The location was chosen for its incredible natural beauty, and also its extreme remoteness, as the King was quite sick of his nephew and wanted him nowhere nearby. There is a whale that lives in the fjord, which Maurice has befriended and named Ernesto.

The fog of Gloomgulch rolls slowly over the walls of the crypts as the moon peaks through the clouds, lighting the walls of the palace in twilight. The Crypts of Gloomgulch may look old and creepy, but they were built that way to serve as a haunted house for Halloween. It also gets rented out for weddings at other times of the year, to... strange people.

The Bridges of Skyhold were built as part of the Royal Road, to provide a more direct route over Skyhold Mountain. As the spires of Skyhold are quite remote, various restaurants, shops, and inns were added along the way. There's even a snow cone cart!

The Rocky Top School for Gifted Children was built as a safe haven for orphan children, and definitely not as a jail for hooligan kids who aren't allowed to leave. The bars on the windows are for the children's safety, so they don't accidentally fall out.

The Summit Veil. Home of the sky people. The King is coming soon to negotiate a new treaty, and the sky people have requested our help preparing a location for the negotiations. A palace here at the summit.

Here we are, the Tempest Crossing. Where the east, west, and north meet each other at the Cliffs of Tumult. The only road connecting each of these lands. The King's party will be traveling through here soon, and the bridges must be built anew.

Welcome to Reeftide Rock. Don't be confused by the name, it's actually three rocks now. The water used to be lower and they named it when it was just one rock. Used to be an old pirate stronghold, and the King is coming here to search for pirate treasure. We've much work to do to get this place safe for him to be exploring it. Let's get to it!

Watch your step there. It can be quite slippery on the rocks here at Eagle Man Falls. You know, it's named as such because of a man who slipped and fell down the falls and very much resembled an eagle on his way down. This is the primary source of clean water for the kingdom, and the King is coming soon to inspect the water collection facilities. We'll need to get it all in tip top shape in advance.

We've no time to waste. There is a summit being held here, and the king and his entourage will be arriving imminently. We've much construction to do. You'll need an enormous amount of stone, but there's actually a mine in the mountains to the north where you can collect it. Just watch out for the yeti. I haven't seen it myself, but the locals swear that it lives up there.

This is Highland Dale, the King's favorite polar bear hunting getaway. Oh, but don't worry, he doesn't kill any polar bears. The King doesn't actually like hunting. He just likes all the relaxing around the fireplace that comes with a hunting trip. I've prepared a list of things that must be built before his arrival. Including a new fireplace.

The royal dungeons have run out of room for holding criminals and ne'er-do-wells. The jail cells are overflowing. The King has asked for a new asylum to be built to hold the worst of them. Somewhere they could never escape from. I suggested here, at the very top of the Sapphire Spires. If any of them did escape, it's not like they could get away without a parachute.

The King wishes to build a haunted house for his daughter in time for All Hallow's Eve. Ooh, I don't like it here. I can see the fog rolling in. Let's get this done quickly and get out of here!

The King has requested a new manor be built for some of his subjects. The more, uh… the more enchanting women. The women who are… into… occult things. Alright, look. The King is creeped out by witches and wants you to build a place for them to live that is far away from him. Make sense?

We've got quite a pickle on our hands. There's so much construction happening in the mountains and we're wasting far too much money hauling materials up there. We need to build a lift up the Cliffs of Madness to transport materials. And accommodations at the top for all the workers.

Did you hear? An entire civilization of intelligent creatures has been discovered beneath the sea! We can't speak their language, so we've just been calling them the Merpeople. It seems one of our dredging ships accidentally destroyed their castle while searching for sunken treasure. So if you could just pop down there and rebuild it real quick, that would be great.

The ancient Tomb of Zalfari has been discovered beneath the rocks off the coast in the Easttide Sea. The most sacred of places… if our enemy knew we'd found it, full on war would break out for control of the tomb and the contents within. The King wishes to build a garrison over the top of the tomb as a ruse, so that we can excavate below without anyone being the wiser.

Ah, finally you're here. Welcome to the Woods of Arcadia, and the future grounds of the Royal Arcadian Conservatory. What is a conservatory, you ask? An excellent question. One I was hoping you knew the answer to, because I'm not sure. I think it's like a place to grow plants or something? I don't know, the King wants it. Here are the plans.

Oh, the King is in much distress. The crystal mines of Snowmelt Pass have collapsed under a great earthquake. These mines were the primary source of funds for the royal coffers, and it's all in disarray now!

Our King has an engagement with the high Lord of Runswick to discuss a potential alliance. They are to meet for a hunt in neutral grounds, and Wolfden Brook has been chosen. Though it seems the river recently flooded and devastated the lodge there, so it must be rebuilt. And watch out for wolves. It wasn't named Wolfden Brook for nothing. Well actually it was, there was no wolf den there when it was named, but the wolves moved in later. It was quite the coincidence.

The King is nearly done with his vacation, and next on the schedule is second vacation. He wishes to visit his elder aunt in Frostbite Dale, but the accommodations there aren't nearly suitable for the entire royal entourage. We'll need at least thirty bedrooms, four kitchens, eight sitting rooms, six reading rooms, eleven dining rooms, three thinking rooms, and uh... how many bathrooms do you imagine?

The holidays are coming, and the King wishes to spend his vacation in the Briskwind Hills. I tried to tell him he already owns several winter chalets, but he insisted on building a new one. The taxpayers won't be happy about this. But that's why we're not going to tell them!
