If one were to look at my purchase history for film simulation apps, they would find dozens upon dozens from every 2bit developer in existence. After two years, I have landed softly into the warm embrace and silvery tones of Sweet Film. Please stop looking. Please download and please enjoy. You can have my money; monthly, yearly, it makes no difference. This is unbelievably realistic and uncanny. Sweet Film has captured the essence, no; the very soul of film. I take pictures and they have character and spirit. Incredibly simple and adept. Thank you folks at Sweet Film. Never change.

We all searched “film camera”, something of that nature in the App Store because we don’t own actual film cameras and we’re desperate for something cool to happen. Cool happened with this app, it’s completely free and probably the only film app you’re ever going to need. I rated 5 stars because it’s easy to use, makes photography fun, and it’s completely %100 free with no ads. Unreal, thank you sweet film!

Simple design. Extra features I didn’t expect like 3D photos. No ads. No unwanted design choices. Great work. It’s amazing that it’s free. If that were to change someday please make it a one time purchase and not a subscription. Even if I had to pay it’s much better than a subscription. I hope it can stay free forever but I know developers and teams need to make money at some point.

This app produces photos that are FAR better than any other retro camera app on the market. It creates a super realistic disposable effect with cool options to toggle in/out of focus. The only major miss is the inability to upload and edit photos from camera roll. I’d love to edit some existing photos with this app, but unfortunately there’s no functionality to do so. Please please please introduce that feature in the next update!
