Unfriendly in every way

My biggest gripe is that I just CANNOT LOGIN HOW I WANT. It seems only one mobile device is allowed to log into your account. I have other bank account in other places (and of course not forgetting Scotiabank) where I could login with no stress on my phone or my tablet. Why is one restricted on how and in which way they login?! I have joined Republic bank once in Trinidad & Tobago and cancelled it in pure haste because the online banking was and probably still is too arduous. Now it is just my luck that I am forced to deal with them here in Grenada. When I have to log on, it is a mental process to have the strength to deal with itRepublic’s technology is terrible. This is where they rank extremely low on the ease of doing business.

Overkill security features for mobile banking

I’m still flabbergasted that with all the advancements we’ve made in technology to make a simple thing such as logging in to a mobile banking app secure AND simple, that Republic bank had to choose the most arduous method! Why is the consumer forced to login via their mobile phone? If my phone is stolen or my battery is dead, can’t I access my account on a friends phone? On a laptop only? Coming from how simple Scotia Bank’s login process was, this is overkill!!

No customer service 800 number; not available on WhatsApp. I placed over 5 phone calls to their long distance number for help in trying to logon to my account. After their strict troubleshooting and logon instructions, I am still not able to logon to my acct. And I have been told to call back another day to speak with their internet banking dept. I don’t know why they hadn’t transferred me to that dept in the first place. This is very frustrating.

Limited and too much security

Should be able to sign Into two accounts with this app. I.e, savings and business account simultaneously.Adding a payee can only be done via web browser. This should be done on the app. App is very slow as well.The security is way too tight. Moving from web browser to your device for sync approval etc
