*Real Customer, not a PAID review*I recently started using the SkillCat app, and I am thoroughly impressed with its latest update. The app is now more user-friendly and intuitive, making navigation a breeze. This update has significantly enhanced the overall user experience.One of the standout features of SkillCat is its tailored approach to user needs. The app offers a wide range of trade-specific certifications, including HVAC with the EPA 608 certification, electrical, and plumbing certifications and more. There’s no need to spend a fortune on trade school when you can access high-quality, accredited training through SkillCat. The app offers a free trial, and after that, it’s only $10 a month. The courses were decent enough, and the EPA certification was far faster than other sites. The problem is that unless you pay for the continuing service, you will be completely unable to access any of your certificates or diplomas you might have earned. The website says that downloading the app will allow you to access these certificates by logging in and viewing your profile. The app simply refuses to load past the loading screen that says “loading you profile”, however, preventing you from doing this. I have waited ridiculous amounts of time on the screen on multiple connections to test this, and even re-installed the app. To be clear, the programs were all decent enough that a few months subscription would have been worth it to me, if I needed more time to complete a course or two. I DID pay the $50 to get a physical EPA 608 card, so this is not saying that everything should be free. It can definitely be worth it. Having been in the trades for years, everything I experienced within the app while it was working shows me it is a worthwhile tool. Outside of a few videos not working, some errors in quizzes and tests where correct answers were marked incorrect, or very poorly worded, the whole experience was good. I am only saying that I would not expect to be able to access anything after your subscription ends, which could be a major issue.

Incredible free app to learn hvac!?? how could anyone pass on this. I appreciate the developers and whoever spent time into this project. Education should be free and this is really really exceptional for free service. Opportunities can easily be grown from going through their courses!, It’s not the most high end online school but it’s simple and not over complicated with how they educate. I just turned 18 and getting my Epa certification I hope will benefit me greatly. Use this app to get a job or just learn. Honestly I thought Hvac was going to be impossible for me to begin until I decided to get Skillcat. Thank you so much for the free service!! I wasn’t born into a gifted family so the top-tech $$$ schools are out of hand so I rely to free information, Skillcat is superb with this!. 5 stars so more can see this!!!p.s. Carful with how much $ you’ll be making after a few years of Hvac it’s dangerously good. Get motivated and start working harder!

I’m so glad I stubbled Upon skillcat One day when searching for free education. This app is amazing at teaching you the basics of not only HVAC but they also do electrical and plumbing. This a TRULY FREE APP. I went to a votech school for four years for hvac but unfortunately what you learn is up to the instructor and the school district. School setting is not for everyone. I’m using skill cat to refresh my knowledge and earn an epa certification which is awesome and I couldn’t even get one in my votech hence why I needed to go to more hvac school after high school.This is simply awesome and the fact that it is free is truly amazing. If you are someone who wants to leave the basics to see if the trade is for you, then you need to use this app. Explore electrical and plumbing too because it never hurts to learn more about other trades. I highly RECOMMEND
