Tuktu is a community-powered care provider that matches family members and seniors who need support to safe, local, friendly companions for everyday needs. Our smart matchmaking connects you with best-fit companions – just like family – with the advantage of lower cost and flexible terms.
WHY CHOOSE TUKTU?
• Safety – All Tuktu helpers undergo a thorough background check, including a criminal record check, reference checks, and empathy-based training.
• Affordability – Our Tuktu helpers are members of the community, not full-time caregivers. You are billed for a minimum of 1 hour, and after the first hour in 15 minutes increments.
• Flexibility – There are no contracts or fixed terms, you can book services on-demand when you need them. You can book a service from 24 hours in advance up to 2 weeks in advance.
• Support – We are reachable between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM by phone and email for any questions about our services or issue with a booking.

• Companions – Quality time and great conversation. Book an engaging Tuktu for hobby activities, as company for a walk, or just for spending time together.
• Helpers at home – A variety of household services to help aging at home. Book a friendly Tuktu for housekeeping, tech help, shopping, gardening and more.
• Travel Assistants– Accompaniment by car, public transport or walking. Book a reliable Tuktu for medical appointments, shopping trips, visiting friends and more.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Download our app, sign up with your phone number, and create a profile for either yourself or a loved one with our onboarding.
2. Select which service you want, who you are booking for, where and when you want the service, and find your perfect Tuktu with the help of our smart matchmaking.
3. If needed, we will call you for additional info before service time. You can also chat with your Tuktu inside the app if you need to sort out details or ask questions.
4. Your Tuktu will arrive to provide top-quality service! They will log the start and end time of the service for billing purposes.
6. Pay easily online with your credit card via Stripe. We also offer payment via cheque with an invoice.
5. Rate and review your Tuktu to let us know how they did!
