One of the most common problems in bending is the calculation of bend deduction. Determining the size of the piece to be cut starting from the finished measurements is often done by trial and error, requiring a lot of additional work not only for the press brake operator but also for the designer and the laser cutter operator. Time and material are wasted on various tests before getting a reliable value.
With this app, you quickly get the sheet metal bend deduction, and therefore the sheet metal blank initial flat length, from the finished part measurements.
You only have to insert interior angle, flange lengths, K factor, inside radius, and material thickness.
