STRIDE stands for “Strength Identification and Expression,” which means becoming aware of your personal strengths and using them more in your daily life. The KF-STRIDE® app was developed by Kessler Foundation to help individuals learn how to do “strength-spotting,” which is a way of recognizing when you use your strengths every day! The app focuses on 24 character strengths, which are positive traits identified by the field of positive psychology. The app provides a description of these strengths, as well as a place to “spot” them in a daily journal. Research shows that “spotting” strengths has clinical benefit: it can boost your mood and well-being and show you how many times you do something “right,” as opposed to focusing on what you do “wrong.” In addition to the daily journal, the KF-STRIDE® app will provide you with reminders to spot your strengths and a monthly summary of all the strengths you used that month. KF-STRIDE® was created by Kessler Foundation with support from Alfiero and Lucia Palestroni Foundation.
