I love Writco!! I migrated to it from another writing platform that recently decided to hit users with an unreasonable paywall. It was a choice that excluded and alienated many, so several of us found our new home at Writco ❤️Writco is dedicated to keeping their app free to use. And no ads, which I love!! There are multiple tiers to pick from, regarding premium subscriptions, should you desire those added perks. The prices are all reasonable and inclusive, in my opinion. There are writing contests, badges, consistent writing prompts to ease you out of your writing slump… and so much more.There are three different sections on your profile page: stories, poems, and quotes. I love this organization, as I often write something of each! Helps potential readers weed out certain styles of your work, rather than it all being clumped together.As with any app, I have noticed a few bugs. I will note them here, should the team want to take note:• I’ve noticed often that when someone posts a nimble, their shared poem appears as a blank white box.• Sometimes when I like a comment on a piece, the like doesn’t submit. It will “unlike,” and I have to like it again.Some features that I would like to see:• Ability to view all of my saved drafts at once, as a list. Currently, I’m able to save multiple drafts, but I can only pick up where I left off on my most recently saved piece. This is not too much of a crying need, as I write on my notepad a lot in the first place. It would just be nice :)• It would be cool to have the ability to post extra custom links. There is a workaround for this, however, by linking your website with a list of links on there. So again, not a crying need :)• I’ve noticed some emojis are not supported. Definitely not a crying need, but it would be cool to have a little more support for more emojis haha.I look forward to the future updates! I got a notification that something is coming 👀 Can’t wait! I would give this pretty good review because a lot of my poetry comes from battling personal issues like depression and anxiety and in the past having my heartbroken and recently dealing with the loss of my mom and so poetry is a way for me to get those feelings out there and I love that people enjoy my writing And if my writing can affect people on an emotional level or even a personal level, that is incredible

Okay … but the fact that there has to be at least 30 characters to post a poem …… Really ? Most of my poems are pretty short …. 18-25 characters at most…. I’m constantly having to improvise & add more … something I don’t really want to do……. It shouldn’t matter how long the poem is……… I’m a little irritated…. But the app is nice. Take away the character restrictions though. It’s irritating.
