You can now group and manage items with removable parts, such as lanyards with carabiners, harnesses with rope bridges, or first aid kits. We call items with removable parts ‘Assemblies’. You can add and remove parts from assemblies, and manage each part just like any other item in your inventory: record inspection results, add dates of manufacture and first use, track expiry dates, and more. We’ve made some big updates to the way you can manage Inspections: You can now create and manage inspection frequencies in the mobile app You can now apply multiple inspection frequencies to your items. This means you can: Set multiple inspection types with different frequencies against your inventory items, helping you track weekly checks as well as 6-monthly inspections, for example Set custom frequencies: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually, or custom durations Assign different inspection types to each frequency (regular or thorough) Create a list of all upcoming inspections, and all items that have a particular frequency applied to them

You can now sign in to Scannable using your Google, Microsoft or Apple account—no need to create or remember a password. This new feature streamlines the login process, allowing you to access your Scannable account with the credentials you already use, and gives you enhanced security by leveraging the security features of your trusted providers.

Introducing Folders, a major upgrade to how you organise your gear in Scannable. With folders you can: Structure and organise your equipment in a way that accurately represents where your equipment is and how it is allocated by nesting subfolders inside folders. It’s just like you would organise files on your computer Navigate your folders and subfolders in a clean, collapsible tree view Move items between folders Filter by folder type Choose from folder types like Kit Bag, Vehicle, or Location, and add descriptions, share folders, or check items off in the field Folders will be replacing the Groups feature.
