Dr. Amir is a leader in her field of medical obesity and has integrated her two decades of internal medicine practice and her advanced obesity training to offer a unique VIP patient experience. She always thinks "outside the box", while understands Florida's multicultural community. Long gone are the days of "move more eat less". We know weight is a highly regulated system and our modern environment has led to changes in our dietary content, food quality, stress, sleep and has led to increasing weight in all age ranges. With obesity reaching 42% and 20% in adults and children respectively, we are no longer playing the "blame game" and understanding the complexity of this chronic disease. Our center treats both adolescents and adults and offers an integrative in-person or telehealth platform.
Using the latest technology and science to connect and treat patients, we provide both compassion and ease.
