The progression and difficulty of this game is really fun, but there are some flaws that are just too big to ignore. Firstly, there are some parts that are just not fun. From bosses to rooms, sometimes you just can’t avoid getting hit and that can get really annoying. For example, there’s a room that appears in the late game where not only is there a giant statue in the middle, so you can’t move around much, it’s also the smaller room type, so you only have space to move around in a circle without being able to move left or right. Then, there’s around 6 enemies at a time (with 5 waves), and you’re just expected to survive, while these things are hurling projectiles and melee attacks at you. There’s a fine line between challenging fun and challenging annoying, and this game has both. Also, there’s just technical issues. I just got a thing that’s supposed to let me heal whenever I want, but when I went to do it, it wasn’t letting me, and I had to end up searching it up, and guess what? They just didn’t add a button for it. That’s right, I got an item that’s supposed to let me heal, and I can’t because of poor game design. They went through the trouble of adding this game to mobile (and mind you, every other mechanic is good), and just didn’t add a button for this one thing. Overall, this game is so so close to being perfect, it’s just a few small things that make it really not fun to play.
