Up Tempo’s waveform view lets you quickly see where you are and skip to a specific point in a song. Stuck on a particular section? Precisely set points to loop between. Need more accuracy? Pinch and zoom to get a more detailed waveform view. Want to remove parts of your track? You can use the waveform view to trim your track or add fade-in and fade-out.
When you have finished a session you can save your loop points and pitch/tempo settings to use another time. You can also export your adjusted song and share with others.
Up Tempo is more than just a pitch shifter and vocal remover app. It can also be used as a music looper and general audio editor, for changing the talking speed on voice notes and podcasts, or for making nightcore and multi-tracks. The pro version of the app has lots of advanced editing features including equaliser, reverb, and delay.

The app is pretty simple to use. Even if you don’t pay the extra one-time fee to get extra features, the app works quite well and is very user friendly. I make songs in FL Studio, a music making program, then export it so that I can listen to it on my phone on this very app. It’s great for if you want to listen to songs on loop or out of the app or or with your screen off because it does all of that.

Button icons invisible

I've updated the latest version of this app, and I went to the audio file to find out that the button icons on the bottom disappeared. I deleted and reinstalled the app in hopes that it would fix the problems, and it still didn't work. And now all my audios were gone! Please fixAlso, preserve format doesn't work and does nothing.

Great for musicians using backup tracks

Works like a champ. I use it to play backup tracks, which allows me to control the playback speed as well as the pitch. I upgraded to the paid version which was quite affordable and also just a one time fee as opposed to a monthly recurring subscription. The paid version allows you to separate vocals and tracks. Highly recommended!
Best warping algorithm I’ve heard

This is the cleanest pitch-shifting I’ve heard, hands down, from an app. All the other apps started creating extremely unpleasant bass artifacts when I updated iOS recently for some reason… but Up Tempo sounds as good as Ableton. Very impressed!
