With Tabbed, you feel like a member of every participating restaurant you enter. Simply tell the waiter your name, and you're set. As you order, you can review your receipt in real-time and adjust the tip amount during your meal. After you've finished eating, there's no need to flag down the server or scan a QR code; you can just walk out. Tabbed will pay your check for you.
I am amending my review because right after I wrote this the developer reached out and said he would fix the mistake with the gift card which he did. I was impressed with the prompt redress. I still don’t like the 2.99 fee not being disclosed but it’s possible I just missed it. Our waiter said he applied a gift card and at first the bill on the app reflected this. I tried to pay but it didn’t work. When it refreshed I paid and it did work but the gift card was not applied. Also it charged a $2.99 fee that was not disclosed. Now I’m waiting to talk to the waiter to try to fix the problem with the gift card. It did give us a free appetizer which was nice.
Great, but room for tweaks

Used Tabbed for the first time last night and was really impressed by a lot of the features. Bluetooth alone pulling up the correct tab the second I made an account (and I hadn’t told the waiter my name so it wasn’t a simple text search) was impressive. The check-out process was seamless, but for group dining splitting down the middle isn’t always what’s wanted. There are so many apps that have a bill split function, I think Tabbed would benefit from being the bill-split and bill-pay functionalities all in one.
