I actually like this version there are a few things I wish they would upgrade I would like to control the speed of the translator voice I feel like they speak too fast for the recording part I wish it was like a test to correct you if you’re saying right or praise you when you said it correctlyHowever I did give this version five stars because of all the different option to choose from
Login request after purchasing a year ago
CAMEOSIS
I am sure I am not alone but I speak only for myself and my family. I purchased this product, the full sweep over a year ago. And although we haven’t used it in much sense. We used it enough to notice we were never required to login or to be bombarded by advertisement. However, now that we are situated to a point where need to use this software for its intended purpose. We find it extremely annoying with every click to be presented with a login to Apple for no apparent reason. FYI, to advertisers if you have to constantly throw your crap in peoples faces how in the hell do you expect them to respect you enough to investigate your product. You are behaving like Third World scammers and I find it offensive and I’m given this product very lowRating as a result I will delete this product and not recommended ever because of the annoyances that when I am sure we will all eventually not be able to enjoy a walk down the street without being bombarded with crap we will never buy or never be interested in. We know what we want and we don’t need you to throw your crap in our face every five minutes
The new update is nice, but missing some older features!
Gabby is... not my name
I purchased the Twi Phrasebook and other bundle apps a long time ago, and have always liked being able to open the app and look at the vocabulary when I need to remember a word or phrase. With this newest update, I do like the new layout and practice oriented style, but with it we’ve lost a lot of access to the vocabulary and the “phrasebook” aspect behind a new subscription, which is a bit frustrating as someone who had already paid before to purchase the app. If there was a way to give more access to the vocab for those who had already purchased in the past, that would be great!Outside of that, one feature I really do miss is the widget that would tell you the time in Twi - I used it every day before the update to help practice and was sad to see it disappear, so would love to have that back in the future if possible!
Developer Response
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback - I really appreciate you taking the time to share this.If you previously purchased or subscribed to an earlier version of the app, you should still have access. Please try restoring your purchase by going to the Settings tab in the app, tapping Twi Phrasebook Pro, and tapping Restore Purchases at the bottom. That should unlock your previous access.I also hear you on the phrasebook aspect - maintaining easy access to vocabulary is important, especially for quick reference, and I’m continuing to improve that experience.Regarding the Twi time widget, I’m glad to hear you found it useful - it’s actually coming back in an upcoming update in an improved form. Thanks again for your support over the years, and please feel free to reach out if the restore doesn’t work or if you have any other suggestions.
Helping me re-learn
AshOp77
My father is from Ghana but my mom is not, so we didn’t speak Twi a lot in the home, but I did learn to understand form being around family at parties and such. Now as an adult, I want to re-learn the language and this app has been a TREMENDOUS help. I use it at work, on the go and if I’m just sitting around anywhere, it give me the opportunity to practice. Having the pronunciations that you can listen to is also such a treat! My dad is so impressed!
The Twi Time widget returns — one of your most requested features. You can now add it to your Home Screen and tap to hear the time spoken in Twi.
Ongoing improvements to make vocabulary and phrase access faster and more useful.
General improvements and fixes.
I truly appreciate the feedback many of you shared — I’m listening and building Nkyea with you.
