more I primarily use this for still images, and the forced landscape orientation on a portrait still image feels like I'm trying to edit a thumbnail image. The quality is great nonetheless, but please rectify this somehow, as I often have to export the edited image to see if I like it or if I have to reimport and reedit. Thanks in advance.

After all these years I am still loving this app. I need to do some tilt shift video and I was looking for apps and I came across this one in the App Store but it showed I already download it. But it wasn’t on my phone so I re-download it. And it works beautifully at all these years. It’s simple to use and it gives great results thank you developers. Long time user.

This is a must have app and puts a nice "shine" on your clips. Useful for much more than just miniaturizing. Not sure if the app is still being maintained. The interface is quite old looking. Anyway the tilt shift effect does not work. Yes, other features work like changing the time speed and color, but blur, the feature you want, does not work. Tried it with 3 separate video files and nothing.

Thanks for all the emails received with suggestions! That's what keeps my updating this App.
+ Due to popular demand, now TiltShift Video accepts videos of any resolution and aspect ratio. The only limitations are that videos can't be bigger than 1280x720 or smaller than 192x144.
+ The export options logic has been modified in the following way:
* If the video is in a 16:9 aspect ratio the export options will be the original resolution and any of the following resolutions that is smaller than or equal to the original one (1280x720, 960x540, 640x360, 480x270).
* If the video is in a 4:3 aspect ratio, the export options will be the original resolution and any of the following resolutions that is smaller than or equal to the original one (640x480, 480x360, 192x144).
* If the video does not have a 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio, the App will offer to export it in its original resolution, preserving the original aspect ratio without deforming the image and without adding black bars.
+ The render engine has been improved to avoid some incorrect renderings when dealing with images of certain dimensions.
+ The Blur Adjustment screen for the iPhone has been improved for performance. Defining the blur areas is now a smoother process.

- Added a visual cue that informs where the blur area will start to fade out to the “in focus” area.

- Added the possibility to adjust the image brightness.

This is mainly an optimization release, although some new features have been incorporated.
+ Improved video quality, especially for HD (720p) videos.
+ Important internal optimizations and fixes. App consumes now around 65% less memory, making it much more stable.
+ Now the application looks for videos not only in your Camera Roll, but in your Photo Library too!. This means that you can apply the Tilt-Shift effect to those videos synchronized via iTunes to your Photo Library. Please, keep in mind that the video resolutions the App can process are still limited to one of these: 720p, 560p or 480p. Also, please, keep in mind that if you have synchronized a video to your Photo Library, but it is still present in your Camera Roll, it will be displayed twice on the list.
+ Replaced the "Made With" option with a text field. Now you can enter the text you want as the end title!

This is a big update that fixes all the know bugs, improves the performance and user interface and adds a few new functionalities:
+ Updated to support iOS 4.2
+ Even more optimizations. The rendering process is now 15% faster!
+ Now all the sliders display a tooltip showing the value you are adjusting; getting the results you want is easier than ever!
+ The Instructions and Tips sections of the App have been merged under a single button: "Instructions / Tips". Reason for this is to make room for a new option:
+ "Create New Image!" option is added. Although the App main focus is still videos, I thought you would appreciate the possibility of applying the effect to the images in your Camera Roll. The workflow is similar to the one for the videos (without the unnecessary steps), and Images are directly saved to your Camera Roll.
+ Fixed a bug where the App would not be able to process correctly videos without Audio tracks (that kind of videos are generated by some popular time-lapse Apps). The application should support all the videos in your Camera Roll which are in one of these resolutions: 1280x720, 960x540 and 640x480. If you find a video that the application can't process, please get in contact with me at tiltshiftvideo@gmail.com and I will investigate the issue.
+ Changed how the titles work. Now, they are no longer affected by the blur areas. However, if you choose to use them in your video, then the Fade In/Out will be applied too.
+ Added a new "Full Screen" button that will open the "Full Screen Preview" window. It still can be accessed by double-taping the preview area, but in this way it is more accessible and nobody will forget about it. As a reminder, the "Full Screen Preview" window shows an accurate rendering of how the video (or photo) will look like with the current settings. To exit from the "Full Screen Preview" window, just tap on the preview image.
+ Added new functionality to the "Full Screen Preview" window: On the bottom of the window there is a navigator that you can drag to change the second of the video that is being displayed in the preview area. The frame you select to display here will also be displayed on the "Blur Adjustment" and "Image Adjustment" windows.
+ Added the possibility of capturing still frames (processed with the Tilt Shift effect) from your videos. Captured frames are directly saved to your Camera Roll. To capture a frame, open the "Full Screen Preview" window and tap on the "snapshot" button found on the bottom left side of the screen.
+ The usual internal small fixes and optimizations.

This is a HUGE update that includes several enhancements and new functionalities.
+ Added support for all the possible video orientations. Now, videos recorded in portrait mode or in landscape mode but upside down will be treated correctly by the application.
+ As a result of supporting portrait videos, the App's interface has been updated to support all the possible device orientations. Just choose the one that is right for you.
+ The "Select Video" screen has been redone. Now it shows a preview of each video at different times, making much easier to identify the video you are looking for!
+ The old "Image Adjustment" screen has been split in two: "Image" and "Blur", to support new functionalities and make easier to get the video you want.
+ Improved how the "Saturation" adjustment works. Now, it provides better image quality.
+ Added "Contrast" adjustment: you can increase it when necessary to get even greater miniature effect!
+ Changed the linear blur: now it is no longer restricted to different areas of the screen. Put your blur sections in any way you want: horizontal, vertical or even diagonal. You're not even restricted to have parallel lines.
+ Added circular blur!!! You can position the circle in any place you want just by dragging it around. Pinch with two fingers to change its size.
+ Improved blur quality and better transition from the blurred areas to the normal ones. Now the smoothness of the transition is adjustable too!
+ Added a "Final Preview" screen! In the Blur adjustment screen, double tapping the preview image will open a full screen preview that will show the image just like it will be rendered in the final video (of course, limited by the screen resolution). Tap the Final Preview to go back to the Blur Adjustment screen.
+ Preview Generation Speed improvement: when adjusting the image parameters (saturation, contrast, blur amount and position), the preview generation is x12 times faster!!! That means that you get an immediate feedback while modifying the different parameters, making the edition much easier.
+ Render Speed improvement: Even with all the improvements done to the image quality, the rendering process is now 25% FASTER!!!
+ Fixed a bug where, under certain conditions, the App could allow the device to enter in sleep mode, interrupting the export process.
+ Several internal fixes and optimizations that increase the App stability and performance.
