more I have always loved learning about other cultures and how people live their everyday lives. Hornet’s Feed section, until recently, has been a way to get a glimpse of this especially in Asia, Russia, and South America. That part is wonderful. The last 3 months or so I get 3 or 4 stings a day from OBVIOUS fakes generated by Hornet. I guess they think we are stupid. Over 3500 follows on a profile that was created today? Posting in my feed about this results in the post disappearing. Replying to this profile with the question results in the message disappearing... Image search on google usually finds the profile pictures belong to someone on Instagram or similar.. Hornet has gone bad and the way they are doing it is SO OBVIOUS that I question why. What do they stand to gain, unless the app itself is malicious? I’m sad because browsing the Feed section has become my morning cup of tea activity, but I am seeing a sharp drop in activity there so by by hornet.

Hornet does offer nice advice on instant protestations of love and “too good to be true” issues, and boy do these fakes deliver there. Military, on a mission but coming home soon, maybe a dog or two... strange though, that a guy supposedly born and raised in the states can’t type in English. It’s more than just grammatically poor, it’s absolutely incomprehensible. Hornet needs to find a way to weed these out somehow. I’ll be deleting my account soon, but I’ve started having fun messing with the fakers’ minds a bit. If all I can find are fakes, I don’t need it.

All the rest of us are live in person and not buying it. What did the team do this time? Mostly tidying. The kind of polish where you don't notice anything is different until you go back to an older version and wince.
- Two new filters joined the lineup: "Where to meet" and "Has face pic." For when you have very specific opinions, and we respect that.
- The Travel Mode card is now tappable across the whole card instead of just the one corner nobody could find. We're sorry. We've grown.
- Posting a Moment now keeps the boost toggle locked until you've actually selected an image. A tiny fix that prevents a deeply confusing moment.
- The onboarding name field no longer SHOUTS EVERY CHARACTER — it auto-capitalises words like a calm person would. Bonus: autofill suggestions actually make sense now.
- That bug where a profile would show stale info after you'd already followed, noted, or interacted with private photos? Gone. The profile updates on the spot now.
- Plus the usual handful of small fixes that nobody specifically asked for but everybody quietly needed.
We've also fixed bugs and improved overall performance of the app. We'll keep updating Hornet to make connecting with the community faster and more reliable.

The team shipped a lot this cycle. Filters, redesigns, and performance wins. Plus a generous helping of bug fixes that nobody asked for but everyone needed.
- The chat input bar has been redesigned with a fresh look. It's cleaner, more modern, and somehow the team argued about it for three days. Worth it.
- You can now filter by community preferences and edit them directly from your profile. The grid now shows you exactly who you're looking for.
- Profiles now open faster — you'll see faces sooner and wait less. The devs called this "performance optimization." We call it "no more staring at a loading spinner."
- Fixed an audio session bug that would reset mid-call. Your video chats should now stay smooth from hello to goodbye, no mysterious silences included.
- MAX subscribers now correctly show their visibility status in the grid. It was showing the wrong thing before. We noticed. We fixed it. You're welcome.
- Fixed a pop-up panel that would collapse unexpectedly on certain screens. The drama was not appreciated.
- Fixed the missing back button when opening a profile from a moment in the feed carousel. You were trapped. We let you out.
- Fixed an empty cache page that appeared when returning from certain scroll states. It was just a blank page staring back at you. That's not a feature.
- Fixed the selected tab indicator in dark mode — it was completely invisible. Like a ghost, but less fun.
We've also fixed bugs and improved overall performance of the app. We'll keep updating Hornet to make connecting with the community faster and more reliable.

What did the team do this time? A lot, actually. Someone even stayed late on a Friday. We know. We were shocked too.
- We've improved our identity verification process. It's smoother, faster, and nobody on the team cried while building it. (We can neither confirm nor deny this.)
- Long feed posts now collapse behind a "...more" button. Your manifesto is still there. We just tidied up the living room a bit.
- Moment comments got a whole new look - a beautiful sheet with all the activity details. We showed it to the team and someone said "finally." We're choosing not to unpack that.
- Filters for looking for, relationship, and language now have a "Not Specified" option. For the beautifully undecided among us.
- Chats load noticeably faster. We'd explain the technical details but honestly it would put both of us to sleep.
- We updated the sign-up experience when you skip adding a photo. It's gentler now. Still judging, but gentler.
- Account switching is now seamless - no more visual glitches during the transition. That was a fun bug report to read.
- Fixed a crash when swiping through profiles. We found it, we fixed it, we added a test so it doesn't come back. (It'll probably come back.)
- And the usual assortment of tiny fixes that nobody will notice but the devs are very proud of. Let them have this one.

We're constantly improving Hornet to help you connect better. This update brings a smoother, faster experience with powerful new ways to stand out and discover.
What did the team do this time? Mostly tidying. The kind of polish where you don't notice anything is different until you go back to an older version and wince.
- Two new filters joined the lineup: "Where to meet" and "Has face pic." For when you have very specific opinions, and we respect that.
- The Travel Mode card is now tappable across the whole card instead of just the one corner nobody could find. We're sorry. We've grown.
- Posting a Moment now keeps the boost toggle locked until you've actually selected an image. A tiny fix that prevents a deeply confusing moment.
- The onboarding name field no longer SHOUTS EVERY CHARACTER — it auto-capitalises words like a calm person would. Bonus: autofill suggestions actually make sense now.
- That bug where a profile would show stale info after you'd already followed, noted, or interacted with private photos? Gone. The profile updates on the spot now.
- Plus the usual handful of small fixes that nobody specifically asked for but everybody quietly needed.
We've also fixed bugs and improved overall performance of the app. We'll keep updating Hornet to make connecting with the community faster and more reliable.
