Extremely useful and versatile timer. Very programmable to suit almost any need. Simple and attractive as well. I tried a number of meditation timers before finding this one, and have now used it for many years. Approaching Enlightenment any day now! (Just kidding!)My only suggestion for improvement: although the sounds (gongs, bells, etc.) are pretty good quality, they don’t die away progressively to complete silence. Should be easy enough to record actual bells etc. and record all the way to *complete* silence. I’d give 6 stars then.

Extremely useful and versatile timer. Very programmable to suit almost any need. Simple and attractive as well. I tried a number of meditation timers before finding this one, and have now used it for many years. Approaching Enlightenment any day now! (Just kidding!)My only suggestion for improvement: although the sounds (gongs, bells, etc.) are pretty good quality, they don’t die away progressively to complete silence. Should be easy enough to record actual bells etc. and record all the way to *complete* silence. I’d give 6 stars then.
A very good interval timer for a variety of purposes

A very configurable and flexible interval timer. I think of it as a reminder that I can set to get my attention at whatever time interval I chose. And instead of some gimmicky, or annoying noise it lets a soothing, therapeutic tone that makes me feel good everyone I hear it. I do wish that I could preview the tones (just by touching them in the configuration page); it would make creating a profile less troublesome for me. Also, if I create long interval sessions sometimes the tone will stop playing, or worse the app will lock up and stop working altogether. Having said that I've tried 6 other meditation/prayer apps and none of them came close to working as well for me as this one.

I was looking for a simple meditation app that is easy to set up different times with intervals and some sound options and this is great for that. My caveat is that when I uploaded my own photos to be used as backgrounds, I could not find a way to easily size them to fit the app screen properly. As a result, after I saved them, the images were way too big for the app screen space provided, unlike the images that come with the app. It would be nice if uploaded images could be easily adjusted in the app to fit the app display screen.

For years I thought I was someone who “couldn’t” meditate even though I intellectually understood the many benefits of regular meditation. This app is simple, easy to use and it helped me develop a regular practice. That’s good! I still don’t understand how to change backgrounds but I like that the backgrounds change automatically every so often. I don’t have anything negative to say about - it’s worked for me. If your goal is to meditate regularly it would probably work for you too.
