We've got a massive update to the Caught Offside iPad app to make it the definitive one-stop shop for all your footballing needs. In addition to our existing personalised news service, we're bringing you some fantastic new features, including: - fixture lists and results for all top flight leagues all over the world - check in to games to tell the world you're following and unlock the social view of the game - live scores. As soon as the ball crosses the line, we will send you a notification - leaderboards. Earn points for checking in, climb the leaderboard and win fantastic prizes - Quick, quicker, quickest - more refinements to make sure your stuff loads quicker! All this and some bug fixes, too. Landscape mode! We're starting our updates to this new version with the introduction of Landscape mode; giving you more flexibility in how you want to use the app.

The world’s top footballers may be taking a well-deserved holiday before the season kicks off, but we’ve been working hard in pre-season to make some great improvements to the Caught Offside app. A couple of features are ready for you to have a go with – try them out for the pre-season friendlies! - Integration with Youtube and Instagram – we continue to improve our curated match specific twitter feeds by adding both youtube videos and instagram photos relating to a match right into the event twitter stream. You can take a look at all the in stadium photos and behind the scenes videos other fans are posting - Post photos to the fan stream – you can now post photos of yourself at the ground or watching at home with your feet up, direct into the fan stream for all of fanatix users to see - Bumper stats and more match info – we’ve turbo-charged the match info area of the app to bring you all the team news and stats you’re used to, as well as all the best content from across the web. With all this info, we make sure you’ve got the complete view of a match

The Euros are over - boo! Fear not, we’ve got an update that brings you even more gossip and rumour from the summer transfer window to keep you entertained until the new season kicks off: • Real-time photos - gives you a behind the scenes view of all the top footy snaps posted on twitter • Easier to chat - we’ve re-categorised your friend chat list and added presence indicators, so it’s easier to see which friends are checked in to an event and which are available to chat • Improved points system and event leaderboards - we’ve expanded our points system to award points for more than check ins. The more social you are, the more points you earn!

Minor bug fix version - some issues in the Twitter feed have been addressed, and we've increased the text size in the news a little for better readability.
