Could you add the minor moons of Jupiter Saturn Uranus and Neptune and make it so it has textured Pluto surface and textured mercury surface and please make it so you could see The surface of the planets and moons by flying to it and please add a zoom feature so you could zoom in and see things that are very far away like you could be on earths surface and then you can zoom in on the Moon or maybe Venus

Star Walk is a very brilliant app and super informative I love almost everything about this app. The app really gives you a variety things to explore; such as the planets and tells you almost everything you need to know about them. There are also really cool features in the app that helps you navigate through the app and gives you information about each planet and even gives images of the planet. There’s also a search button located on the left of the app where you can search or look through options of which ever planet you want to know about or explore. The graphics on this app is really clear and extraordinary everything seems so real. It’s truly Beautiful. On top of the graphics there is also musics which is also really nice pairing with the graphics and the whole app it self. This app is truly really useful, resourceful, and educational; which I truly love about this app. It’s not only fun to look at and interact with. It’s also very informing and creates a learning experience for the user who may not be that aware of the planets. Someone who may want a fun realistic way of learning and someone who may be a visual learner, may really love to have this app and explore it and just get a lot of information from it. One thing I absolutely dislike about this app is the amount of ads linked with this app. Even if I try to buy bundles or stuff in the app there, is nowhere in the app stating that it would remove the ads which basically would be a waste of my money. So besides that one thing I love this app and it’s a very nice Informative, fun, educational app about space and the planets in it. Also that is the reason I gave this app 4 stars this app is worth 5 but the ads are just too excessive and hard to handle.

I like the app, but not quite what I was looking for. I have another app that similar, pretty old but you can point your device anywhere in the sky to find planets, star constellations etc. I haven’t found that one can do that) it gives info about planets etc and can look around each planet in 3D mode. This gives a more closer look at each planet (with up grades) only a couple of dollars extra. Gives a lot of places of interest (in up grade) on planets it offers. Each are separate unless you get bundle that was only a couple of dollars extra. On the plus side you can zoom around the solar system and check out planets and their moons. You get some info on each and some options. Part of me thinks it would be nice for kids but would need a grown up for terminology. I know I wish there would have been things like this when I kid. Pretty nice 3D world of the planets in CGI. Nice and simple ambiance sound. Pad synthesizer. It gives a number of options for upgrades, I got cheaper for doing a bundle. I don’t have all the upgrades.. It gives some pics from NASA and Hubble telescope. Over all it is nicely done for the price. It isn’t something I would do cartwheels over. Your not going get to zoom in like google maps or anything like that. Info gives some basic info.There are apps like this that cost $29 and up. I was tempted to expensive for right now, 2 they would take lot of space for iPad mini. So you get what you pay for. If I am still interested someday I will look into the more pro versions, but this app is not bad for the price.

For transparency sake I have only bought “the earth cycles” for a dollar but it doesn’t even go through earth orbital cycles, it goes through a really cool video of only the ORBIT!!! Not Aphelion, Perihelion, Axial Tilt and precession or anything else. It seems impossible to find any good educational apps that have more than the basic boring facts like distance, weight etc of a planet. SPEND MORE TIME ON MAKING APPS MORE DEEPLY EDUCATIONAL! This is still just pretty stuff, it looks very good but where is the actual educational value.From this single purchase I am hesitant to pay for more. Design something accurate and educational where people can see and adjust the rotations, orbits, tilts and precessions and how all that connects for the earth, moon and the planets so people can actually learn. ITS TIME FOR APP DEVELOPERS TO GET MORE SERIOUS ABOUT ACTUAL EDUCATION, people like me would pay quite a bit if a truly educational app that visual looked like this was ever available. Apps need to evolve past infotainment, a few facts and figures and pretty graphics.
