The Deep Sea Angler application is for any anglers or even charter boat customers who want to have access to a quick surf fishing assistant or guide. This quick reference will help find and catch more fish. It is designed primarily for saltwater deep sea fishing, for those who are offshore on their own boats or on a charter. The interface queries for several "conditions", then posts results based on time of year, time of day, weather, wind, water clarity and more. The results page tells anglers where to fish, the best bait to use, color, size, sound, line type, direction, location, best fish to target and more. It also has a library with details on the most common sport fish being targeted, tips and techniques. There is also an equipment section outlining tackle tips, fishing notes, rigs and more. Finally, there's a section to save your largest catch with info like where it was caught, the length, weight, bait used, and more.
This is a great app even for those on a deep sea fishing expedition who just want to be able to read about or identify the fish the boat is catching, as the app library covers most of the common species. For those looking to fish from shore (surf, jetty, pier) – look up Saltwater Angler.
