Now Drawer works natively in your iOS share menu! Want to add places to Drawer that you see in Instagram, TikTok, and other websites? Just hit the share button, select Drawer, and done!

Snap it. Save it. Done. See a restaurant recommendation in a text? A list of spots in a magazine? A friend's Instagram story? Just point your camera at it. Drawer now uses AI to scan your photos for place recommendations — extracting names, locations, and even context like "get the pepperoni" — then matches them to real places so you can save them instantly. How it works: - Tap the camera icon in the search bar - Take a photo or choose one from your library - Drawer's AI finds the places and matches them - Save one or save them all with a single tap It works with screenshots of text messages, social media posts, articles, menus, signs — anything with a place name in it. Multiple places in one photo? No problem — batch save the whole list at once. We'll even try to grab what information we can about what makes the place special, so you'll remember when you head there. Also in this release: Timestamps on places — Every saved place now shows when you added it, so you can get on trying those places you said you would a year ago (yes I'm talking to you).

Fixed a few little bugs in the sign in process where it would hang up if you signed in with Google, and if you signed up with email, it'd ask for your username twice. Should be much better now! Also cleared up a little weird bug on the maps that might cause a crash in rare cases.

Holy bugs! So, there was a horrible bug that prevented y'all from saving places. Serious apologies y'all! That's all fixed in this version. Nothing else new here. That's right, just hit www.getdrawer.com and log in with your same info in the app. You'll be able to add drawers and places, and even share them on Twitter and Facebook. Howdy campers! A brand, shiny new version of Drawer is here. You can expect the following: - We've fixed a bug that didn't allow you to take a photo when setting a profile photo. The app no longer freezes during that process, so snap away! - We've made some of the buttons, like follow/unfollow and others, more responsive to feel nicer when tapping them. - There was a silly bug that saved the "Anything you want to share about this place?" text when you recommend a place to others. We've fixed that, so it shouldn't save that text any longer. - You can no longer follow yourself :) We know, it's great to keep up with what you're doing, but it seemed like a strange feature. - Also, we've made some tweaks to a few visual pieces of the app. Enjoy, and keep the feedback coming!

We've listened carefully to what you want to see in Drawer, and have worked hard to create the perfect app for keeping track of places you hear about. In this completely new version of Drawer, you'll now be able to: - Create multiple drawers for categorizing places you want to save. - Save both places you want to try, and places you love and want to recommend to others. - Follow your friends on Drawer, view the places they want to try or recommend, and share places directly with one another through the app. - Keep track of your followers activity with the new activity feed. In addition, we've rebuilt Drawer on a completely new technology platform to give you better performance and a sleeker, more usable experience. Please note: If you had a previous Drawer account, that account will not work with this version, and you'll need to create a new account.
