Safari Web Extension for LinkedIn un is a set of handy tools to make your experience on LinkedIn more efficient, and more bearable. un Promote: Remove all invasive and annoying ads, called promoted jobs. Most of the time those jobs are unrelated to your job search and they are just cluttering your experience, filter them out automatically. un Follow: Are you receiving a lot of spam in your feed? Unfollow every one at once by just tapping on a button, this extension will take care of the rest. un Apply: Do you want to keep track of jobs that you have already applied? Surprisingly, LinkedIn being a social media with the sole purpose of finding a job, doesn't actually provide any tool or insights into your applications, it doesn't even let you register that you already did. But this extension helps you keep track of that. un Filter: LinkedIn should provide proper filters for job searches, for example when you are not interested on seeing job posts from a specific company, you should be able to remove that company from your searches. But LinkedIn user experience is bad by definition, so this extension helps you correct that. Select a company that you want to filter out and you will not see it again. # Privacy Policy Un doesn't access your personal information and does not share any of your information with anyone, nothing leaves your device ever.

Worked great, until it didn’t…

I’ve been using a similar extension for Firefox for a while now, but Safari is my browser of choice. I happened to stumble across this extension today and thought I’d try it out.On my first attempt, I was pleasantly surprised to see it worked just as well as the Firefox extensions. However, the promoted jobs have been present in the results over every search since. I have tried clearing my history and website data, but that didn’t seem to make any difference. Not sure what this issue is.As far as additional functionality, I’d also love to see a filter how recently jobs were posted a little more finely. For instance, the ability to view jobs that have been posted only within the last hour. I can already to this by editing the URL, but having it done automatically would be awesome!The ability to hide reposted jobs would also be GREAT!
