Sad and astonishing step backward

From useful and functional old app (and web presence) to barely functional. Cumbersome navigation (try to get to recently past programming), inability to preserve or observe basic preferences, and best of all the wrong video feed for selected programming (lots of problems watching a past event without getting live programming instead). Adding to that, the UX for login flow is incredibly poor, password resets are almost impossible, and the app is obviously harvesting logged in user data. Is really surprisingly poor. I would roll back to the older app while the new system is overhauled.

It was great now unusable for AirPlay!

The new update to add commercials at the beginning of the replay now inhibits the replay from playing in airplay. The adds play but the actual replay never starts after the advertisements. If you go past the ads on your iphone or iPad then try to AirPlay the video bounces back to an advertisement death loop. Does anyone test their features anymore? I was recommending the app to all my U.S. biathlon friend but now I have to retract my recommendation. We at least made it through the world championships before this bad update.

This app is complete trash. It’s not intuitive to use, crashes often, and is full of glitches. The most recent update allows for ads to play before you watch any video, which makes sense because nothing good comes for free and you have to invest in a product to make it better… except this app is nowhere near good and only gets worse with time. Really disappointed there isn’t another way to watch biathlon in the US.

I didn’t have any problem with the log in. Perhaps because I had a previous EV account on the web.I would lose the stream when the screen locked. Easy to fix by changing the lock time to Never. Not the optimal solution, though.Would love to have an AppleTV app!

This appears to be a long-running issue with users of AirPlay in general but there is not much we can do about it unfortunately. We are however working on big screen apps, so hope to have some exciting news on this in the near future.
