I typically just stay with an app if I have paid for premium & put a lot of time into setup, but Neat Nook convinced me to switch. 1- the premium price was reasonable. 2 - the FEATURES! You can add-a picture,-instructions, -a checklist (I add things I need to have in hand to complete the task but you could also make the task "daily kitchen cleanup" and use the checklist to list the steps),-actions (phone call, email or link.),- 2 remindersThe "category" field is a big help for grouping/thinking about tasks and making sure you get them all -- cleaning, maintenance, inspection, replacement. The "priority" options really help motivate me more than just 3,2,1 (safety critical, key for functioning, desirable, optional, etc.) The suggested tasks list in the app is comprehensive!!The interface is "adult;" I don't want a lot of gameifiction or silly little characters. The badges & streak counter and tracking of on-time completion are just the right amount of motivation. It is easy to setup tasks; all the info is on one screen.You can push your reminders to the Reminder app which I appreciate! Really prevents chores from being out if sight, out of mind. The only features I miss are a field for the effort a task takes BUT with the tags feature I can replicate that. One field that none of the many chore apps I have looked at seem to have is a time estimate for a task but again I can use the tags to replicate that.and because you can have multiple locations and I love the app, I created a location of work and I use it to add my reoccurring tasks/work chores totally unrelated to cleaning.

Found this app after recently downloading their other app, Basic Beauty. I've been looking for an app like this for so long! I've tried other apps to track chores like replacing the brita filter or washing my bedsheets, and this is by far the best! The design is so cute and the app is easy to use. There are so many helpful features - customizable schedules and reminders, sharing/delegating tasks with another person, and adding sub-tasks or to-dos to each routine. I currently rent an apartment but I can only imagine how helpful an app like this would be to a homeowner.

I love the UI of the app and the ability to attach our own photos/icons to each task. The notes tab is also really handy for adding notes, link, additional photos stashed right with your reminder. One thing I’m looking for that this app does not currently offer is the ability to add a new category instead of only a new home. For instance I’d like to have a separate tab for routine car maintenance that needs tracked. Sometimes I’ll complete a task on the scheduled date but will forget to complete it until the next day and it’ll only let me complete on the current day which can be annoying as it messes up the next scheduled date for recurring events. Overall really modern and functional app that I hope the developers continue to improve and add functionality because I believe this has potential to be very successful.

there’s a large variety of cleaning/chore tracking apps on the app store but neatnook by far has the cleanest and nicest UI of them all. on top of that, the suggested tasks in the discover tab are extremely useful. i only needed to add a handful of customs—the rest were added straight from discover. the discover tab also provided suggestions for necessary household maintenance tasks that i will admit to having otherwise forgotten about entirely.I never write reviews on the app store. neatnook is the exception because it is simply exceptional.
