I think like a lot of people I viewed learning a language as this Herculean task, something only the most dedicated or intelligent people could accomplish, outside of moving to another country and being forced to learn it from intense immersion and classes.But I can definitively say that using comprehensible input, and specifically Dreaming Spanish as a platform for the past 8 months, has completely changed my life. I went from knowing next to nothing in Spanish to being able to converse with native speakers and understand what they’re saying almost completely.But there’s a catch: this is not a program that you simply do for 10 minutes a day mindlessly on your lunch break to keep a streak alive. You have to watch the videos and you have to take the time to watch them with attention. There’s no shortcuts to language learning, but there are straightforward paths. Dreaming Spanish has been without a doubt the most straightforward, easy to follow path to learning a language. I’m actively speaking a language that last year I didn’t even know how to form a basic sentence in. This method works.Will it be quick? No. But it will be as simple as watching Spanish videos and following along. And it won’t be a waste of your time like Duolingo.

This is probably the most legit and best way you will learn a language. Dreaming is actually honest with you unlike other programs (there’s no fluent in 30 days BS), they tell you that fluency will take a long time upfront (like more than 1,500 hours). I used Duolingo for years and I could never understand people despite Duolingo telling me I’m b1, I had to start with super beginner videos on DS and many months later, my Spanish has exploded. I credit Dreaming 100% for my progress, I couldn’t have done it without them. I think their methodology will change the entire industry.

Dreaming languages is literally life changing! I’ve been a user for 10 months, and my Spanish comprehension has skyrocketed, just from watching fun videos without any intentional studying. Dreaming Spanish has thousands of entertaining videos at different levels for learners, and it amazes me how they continue upping their game and improving their content. I recommend this to everyone, and having an app that allows me to watch videos even when I’m underground on the subway commuting is such a game changer. I can’t recommend this enough!

I use Dreaming for Spanish input and it has been amazing. Some of the content is cheesy but there is so much content at all different difficulty settings that if that bothers you—-watch something else! I’ve been using Dreaming for about 2 months and can understand bit of native Spanish speakers (people at work, my mother-in-law, etc). The app helps me stay on track so I can watch videos before bed instead of scrolling through reels.
