I’m Renee Walden and I’ve put all my favourite watercolour tutorials here in Renee’s Studio … learn at your own pace, with real time videos and step-by-step lessons. You’ll find lessons on a wide range of subjects (I love to paint everything!) and there are lessons from basic skills through to full fine art paintings.
In my artistic journey I have explored many mediums, but watercolour painting has been a constant passion, both in my studio and in painting plein air. Watercolours give me the most pleasure during the painting process - brushing watercolour paint onto a page and watching it move and blend has not lost its fascination after all this time. In the balance of both control and letting go, there’s a joy in the painting process that I think is unique to watercolours.
Teaching people how to paint in watercolours has been one the highlights of my artistic journey. Over the years I've given hundreds of people skills, so that they can capture their memories on paper in a wonderfully visual way.

To start you off there are 2 free lessons, a big set of articles answering common questions, and painting challenges. To access all content you can subscribe within the app. Pricing varies by region and will be confirmed before purchase in the app.
While you are subscribed you can watch all the lessons as many times as you want. New lessons are added weekly.
All content is in English, with auto-translation and video subtitles in French, Spanish and German.
