It’s a good app but recently it asks me to pay MORE to unlock 50 more generations even when o paid the premium yearly subscription and it’s set to expire in November 2024 (it’s September 2024 at the time of this review)So it’s extremely frustrating to not be able to use what I paid for.Developers please fix this bug, device being used iPhone 14 Pro Max

I saw the app on tick tok and decided it would be fun to send a Halloween message to my friends so I downloaded it. I typed in what I wanted to say and then looked through the voices and pretty much all of them had a lock next to it and when I hit on it it would sample the sound but then I hit it again and it kept bringing up a premium subscription you need for that voice and i get that something’s are money but as I continued looking all of them up needed a premium subscription for which I didn’t want to pay because why would I spend money on a fun little app just to send a little message. it turns out the only option that is free is one voice option which is Dorothy which I found very annoying cause I want to use a scary voice but this was my only option. I looked down all the options multiple times but everything else was money. this sounded cool when I saw it on tick tok and if I had more free options available I would like it but since the whole point of this app is to use Ai voices to make a message with it was very disappointing cause you are extremely limited to just one option and I was not gonna pay for an app I would probably end up using a couple times and then forgetting about it. Tick tok makes the app look good with a bigger variety of options but that is not the case. If you are willing to pay for a premium subscription then you may have more fun without but me personally just wanting to send a message to my friends not wanting to spend any money was disappointing and only kept me on the app for a couple seconds after then realizing pretty much everything is money this is another tick tok scam that looks better on the add but once you download it it isn’t very good at all.

I can only blame myself for purchasing this app. But this is what I discovered about it after I had paid $80 for a year. my biggest frustration was discovering that there was a monthly option available when I looked at my subscription in my Apple Pay. I would’ve much preferred to go month by month and experiment before having committed to a year subscription that I cannot get out of. it’s a typical scenario of buyer beware.The celebrity voices are incredibly limited. The prebuilt voices are also unremarkable. After I had made the purchase, I realized that I only have 300 attempts to make a voice file. so experimenting can eat into your overall number of voice files that you can create. The interface is incredibly weak. There are not a lot of instructions or directions on how to use the application. I went back through the App Store and discovered other voice generating apps that appeared far superior to this one, but I certainly wasn’t about to subscribe to another app after having gotten hosed on this one. shame on me for not doing my research. I should’ve known better. If it works for you that’s great, but I can not endorse this application for the money they are asking for.

You seriously have to watch these people when it comes to giving them money. The app is great and I love the AI voices that come with it. But whatever you do, don’t sign up for their monthly subscription because you won’t get what you pay for. And then when you try to contact them, they go full ghost town on you. I spent weeks trying to contact these people through the app and through email and nobody ever replied back to me. In the end, I had to file a dispute with Apple to get my $20 subscription back for the credits I was never given at the beginning of the month. If you do decide to use this app, it would be better to just buy the credits and use them as that and don’t use the subscription because it is basically worthless on your second month as you won’t get what you’re supposed to.
