I have been playing this game for the past 6 months and I am absolutely in love with it. If I had to make a game to my liking, I’d make it like this. The game is a little pay to win but for the free to play players like me, I am progressing at a good rate. The game is well structured and the late game potential is far out of sight, I won’t get bored, there’s always something I can grind out, or work towards, and when I get to the point where I have a lot of heroes and lose battles, each hero has counters and strategies to beating other players that I can’t wait to get more educated on. The game is perfect for casual and hardcore players. Would 100% recommend if you’re ok with waiting for energy to refill. It won’t take much time throughout the day to progress, even then, leveling up grants energy to keep playing, and the early game is a breeze and I played for a very long time when I first downloaded it. 10/10.

Not much of a mobile gamer, but this one got me hooked. The ads aren’t forced on you, rather they are there for when you are willing to watch them. In app purchases are also at your leisure and not forced. The Discord server is EXTREMELY helpful! Your can run all of your heroes turn-based, but you can always choose to have the AI run your heroes for you, which is helpful when multitasking. I give this one an A+ for fantasy turn-based mobile games.

Overall it’s a pretty fun game. A couple highs and a couple lows. For the highs, there is a lot of variety in the characters and their move sets. Lots of dungeons and areas outside the main campaign. I’ve been enjoying trying different strategies in the arena and improving my heroes.For the lows, the biggest one is that it’s nearly impossible to get new characters outside of paying for them. I’ve been playing for about 10-15 hours at this point, and summon brews are just so hard to come by. It’s a bit unfortunate since evolving your characters requires you to have other monsters with the same star count. My other complaint is that the campaign isn’t well structured and feels a lot more like each area is on it’s own and the overarching story line is missing. It’s a lot of “let’s try here”, “ok not here, next spot” with no great explanation of why we’re moving around like this.

It’s a great game, you don’t need to PTP and there’s a fair amount of strategy involved and although there is an auto mode it’s only effective for levels you’re far above. It does not help you progress further. The levels where you have comparably leveled enemies you need to do manually to win. That said there are a few minor annoyances. The multi-battle menu is a bit backwards. It has a MAX button but it opens on the max value, it would make way more sense to have it be a minimum button if it opens with the maximum value selected. Another thing is the summon rates. I have continuously had a similar rate of 3 star hero’s for King and Valor summons. Which is frustrating because they’re supposed to both have summons for Rare, Epic and Legendary but it should be mostly Epic for Valor and Rare for King, otherwise what’s the point of trying to shoot for getting or paying for the Valor summons if you mostly just get the same rewards for the King summons? It doesn’t make sense. I don’t even bother with them anymore and aim for the supreme summons. There’s also a bit of a gap with the scalability of difficulty levels. It’s frustrating that you need even more resources to level up but as you complete levels the rewards don’t match. You beat a level that requires greater potions to even get close to beating but you only get like 3 lesser potions as a reward. It takes a ridiculously long time to gather enough resources even at higher levels to do anything. It makes it boring if you need to work for days to just level up 1 ascension star for 1 character. It scales too exponentially too quickly. Other than that. It’s really fun.Also, I subscribed to the boost card and I am getting like 15 multi-Battles a day instead of the promised 70. Taking away a star for that cause that’s some nonsense.
