It was very easy to use. I believe the weighing was accurate but I honestly feel like if it’s going to give you an option to set a goal it should give tips and things like that with the app. If it’s really giving you the correct and accurate information about our body let us know how and what we can do to start working on our health journey. The app is kinda plain it self it just says a lot of numbers and information that is needed but for me it doesn’t really matter when I barely understand what it’s saying. Stating that maybe you could also have like an option to explain what every measurement means to another extent. Some are self explanatory but I would still love that extra information.
works, but to what end?

update: i wrote this review over a month ago, using the scale weekly at most with no issue of connection. this week i have yet to be able to log a weight due to a clear app bug/server error. is anyone going to fix this?? or should i just throw the whole thing away?when i bought this scale i was excited and felt ready to add this into the mix. i got this scale after starting my fitness routine to track my muscle mass gain, somewhat my weight loss. after my first weigh in, i have to say i am quite shocked at the data meter. i am 30 pounds overweight for my height and the app displays my data with red text and “obese” as the status. i am not obese. i wouldnt even feel that comfortable calling myself fat. not because i am afraid of being fat or disrespect fat people, but because i find it to be objectively false. and because i DO respect fat people, calling someone my size obese is to villainize and erase the millions of people bigger than me. it’s weird and gross. ASIDE from the political correctness of verbiage, someone at your R+D department mustve said something to you about eating disorders and the psychological effect your data delivery will have on every single one of your users? ihome had blood and bile on their hands. fix this. figure it out. it’s so outdated it’s not excusable.

I bought the scale because of price like many others and thought it was a brand I could trust. When I downloaded the app it offered me their subscription which I considered it a reasonable price so I bought it. It said at the top “30 day free trial” or something to that extent. As soon as I clicked to proceed, I got charged the full amount. First red flag. I sent them an email right away asking them to honor the trial. I get a response eventually asking me for my email (the one where I emailed you from?), amount of the transaction (the amount you charge for the subscription?), date of the transaction…(the date I emailed you which also coincides with the date I got the subscription which you can find easily on my account transactions if you bothered to check?) and last 4 of my payment method, which is apple pay so there’s no 4 digits of nothing. They also asked me for a screenshot of where it say there’s a free trial, which of course I don’t have because why would I thought I needed to take that screenshot beforehand? I expect companies to be honest. Why they are acting clueless escapes my mind. The answer to all those questions is easily at their fingertips. Second red flag, I set up the app, connected the scale and thought everything was fine. I set up the app in lbs and inches. So I weighed myself. The scale shows my weight in kgs. Go to the app to make sure I selected the right option, yep, I selected lbs/inches. So I toggled it again thinking that maybe it didn’t save correctly. I weigh myself again, and again get my weight in kgs. So I changed the option to kgs on the app, now the scale shows my weight in lbs, yayyy! But now I go to the app, and the weight is in kgs there. ITS NOT THAT HARD TO MAKE THIS CORRECTLY. This is infuriating. If I don’t get a satisfactory response regarding my subscription I will call my bank about it and return this scale. What a waste of money.
I’m Happy!

I’m very happy with this app. When I check out reviews for an app I always look to the “most recent” reviews first. I don’t understand what all the complaints are about. I bought a basic iHome scale from Walmart and have been using it with this app for over six months. I’ve had no problems at all. My family of five also uses this app and we each have a personal account to track our own measurements. Occasionally someone will weigh themselves without selecting their profile first, so you’ll have to delete an erroneous measurement from your profile, but it’s no big deal. We’re still using the free version and are very happy with the overall performance of this product. Sometimes I think people blame apps for their own misgivings. Ya gotta have a clue!
