UPDATE: The issues have been resolved!This is a fun app to play with. I’ve only used the preloaded voices, so I’m interested to try making one once I find a use case for it.Sometimes the intonation and cadence seems a little odd on some voices, particularly in that they seem to speak too quickly to sound natural. I’m not sure if it would be possible to offer additional tweaks to thinks like talking speed or pitch, but that would be very cool. Thanks for the app, and for diligently fixing the errors!Previous review:I was able to generate one voice clip after the tutorial. After that, I was given a “something went wrong” message when I tried to generate another. Every time I opened the app, I was prompted to subscribe again. Then, when I tried to generate, I was given the same message that “Something went wrong” every single time. My number of available characters fluctuates wildly between 19k and -15. The feature to report a problem in the app doesn’t work either— I can tap “send” over and over and nothing happens. I turned my phone off and back on again, to no avail. I deleted and redownloaded the app to see if that would help, and now after the tutorial I’m given a different message. This one says that a subscription has been detected and my account is being updated to reflect that, and to reopen the app. But whether I close the message and wait, or close and reopen the app, I just get that same message again and again. I think there was a support email address listed in the FAQ, but now I can’t even get past that initial message to get into the options and find it again. Nothing works.

I’m having a problem… after selecting the Lifetime option in the startup of the app it allowed me to get the lifetime but when I went to look at the options it had different things for me to then buy. I went out of the app and thought it would reset itself if I redownload it. So i deleted it and reinstalled it. Now when it starts up, after the initial splash screen, it says it has detected that I have had it before and to wait a moment then restart. I wait (up to 10 min), hit the restart button then the continue button then it starts over with the detection and to wait and then restart……over and over and over but never goes any further. Any help would be appreciated. Will give more stars when I can actually try it out.Updated review: Developer fixed the problem and the app works even better than expected! Some of the voices are spot on and are great for fooling friends and laughs! So fun! Thanks for the fix!!

I had high hopes for this app, but it has fallen very short of all the positive things that have been written about it. I would have given this app zero stars but that is not an option. If you are looking for an app that creates realistic audio, this is not the app for you. It does however create mostly stiff “robotic” audio. There are no controls to make any much needed adjustments to tone, tempo, warmth or reality. The monthly character cap is also absurd since there is no way of hearing what will be created until you output what you have written. At which point you have wasted characters. I used over 10,000 characters trying to get this app to give me an audio output that did not sound stiff or robotic. Which it never did. And there is the problem of words being mumbled or incoherent in the audio out put which is absurd. I even used additional editing programs to tighten up the audio trying to get it to sound more realistic and fluid. Anyone that claims this app has saved them time, or that they use this app in any amateur or professional way is either deaf or is not very good at what they claim to do. For those of you who are not sure what characters are, “characters” are everything you type which include letters, numbers, spaces, commas, periods, and anything else you type on your screen, including returns. If you do opt to purchase this app because you do not care what your audio sounds like you can save yourself a few charters by not using periods at the end of your sentences. And don’t expect to hear back from the developers if you have any issues with their program. I have contacted the developer through their website several times over the past two weeks and still have not heard back from anyone. And trying to contact them through the app does not work at all.

I got a prompt to upgrade to a paid subscription very soon after I’d uploaded my 30 second clip of me talking, but from what I heard from this voice changer was impressive! Very lifelike and honestly a realistic cloning of my own voice - if I didn’t know any better I could make the honest mistake in thinking that it was indeed me speaking on the other end! Kinda creepy and a little scary but clearly a very powerful tool at hand within the AI components of the app. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for that type of feature in an easy to use, straight to the point and fast processing app.
