I really enjoy the core gameplay and style of this game, but I’ve hit a major issue that’s made it almost unplayable: I can’t progress because the game won’t give me the final 4 metal pieces needed to unlock the base.I’ve played for hours, completed every mission, finished the campaign, watched dozens of ads, and tried every game mode available, but no matter what I do, the game just keeps giving me wood, bricks, and money. It’s been days, and the metal simply won’t drop.What makes this more frustrating is that this issue has been mentioned in other reviews dating back months, and it still hasn’t been addressed. It feels like a soft paywall, but even the shop doesn’t offer a way to get the missing metal.I really want to keep playing , it’s a great concept and very addicting but it’s hard to enjoy a game that literally blocks you from progressing without any real solution. Please fix this for your players.

It took about a week to upgrade all weapons and go as far as I could. I’ve written the developer twice about an update that would allow us to get the last 4 I-beams. I even suggested them to allow us to purchase them for a small amount. The responses I received was we are working on updates. I don’t believe this to be true. They have in-app purchases. There are games I play for fun that change for sale items EVERYDAY. It seems that I’ve been ghosted by the developer and no resolution to this problem with their game. First few days were fun, easy to play. Now, the inability to move forward and the lies I’ve received are the reason for the 2 star review. I know it’s a free game, but it’s a shame the developer couldn’t do better. They are aware of this problem and won’t resolve it. Very disappointed.**UPDATE**Apparently forgot to hit the submit button 🤣. They fixed the I-beam situation. I continued playing. But, once again I am stuck. I don’t know where Z4 is located exactly. I’ve received more weapons, and upgraded them all. I’ve gone through three campaigns on an underpowered weapon. The T3 AK174. The last campaign suggested something was left behind. Using the grenades in the item menu, it helped me pass some of the harder levels.. But still, no new weapons. Watching ads to upgrade my ammo also helped me get to this point. The ads are too long repetitive and monotonous. I haven’t been able to access the PvP either. Maybe I’ll try back in a few more months. I’m not a game designer or an app developer. But if I was, I would develop the entire game before I put it in the App Store. This is something they have not done.

This is a really fun game, I enjoy(ed) it very much. Until, like everyone else, I realize I had been duped and there is no such thing as a “level 4.” With the exception of the fact that the amount of money you earn does not go up with the cost it takes to acquire new weapons and upgrade them, which is super annoying. Most games do this to an extent, but this developed intentionally makes it more difficult to earn more money relative to the cost of “new weapons,” and some of the upgrades are total trash. For example: nobody in their right mind in any real scenario would take a weak 9mm pup gun over an H&K MG5. In this game, you give up a powerful H&K for a weak smg with a small clip on very difficult level, making it much harder to win levels. Otherwise the graphics are good, and the sound of some of the weapons (like the MG5) is awesome. The air raids are super fun too, and are actually my favorite part of the game, but now I have to uninstall it because, well, there is no more game left. Getting a refund for the money I spent through Apple. Suggest you do the same.Update: added levels but not weapons. Playing new levels no good without updated weapons. Come on you guys this is lame.

So I finally had to just give up and come here to give an honest review of this game… while it is a great game that I found a lot of fun to play but it has a major problem… I battled my way through the first chapter, finally got the dog companion and moved on to the next chapter… I battled out in campaign and salvage for a couple of weeks… now for the problem that resulted in a 1 star review: I worked hard to get all the necessary materials to build the base… it came down to the final 4 items needed to earn the base and for some reason the game will not award me those items. The steel beams or whatever they are. I already completed campaign and have done a ton of the helicopter stuff but you don’t get items for those so I have spent the last week straight playing salvage again and again every single night and the game will not give me those items and it won’t let me advance to the next chapter. Not sure if it’s trying to force me to purchase the vip stuff or what but I won’t be doing that and I guess I have no choice but to delete the app and move on to another game by another developer because if they do stuff like this with one game, they will do it with all of them. Fix it… otherwise what’s the point?
