Raven is the best app ever! I didn’t even know I needed this—to slow the pace and pressure of constant instant messages and feeling obligated to reply immediately. Regular texting feels corporate now. Raven is like sitting by the fire with your quill pen writing to a friend. And it brings distance back into the equation. We forgot that time and distance go together. I love anticipating a letter and then finally getting it. I love watching the cute messenger animals making their way to me from far away. I love how this app allows me to pace my conversations using different character speeds to create more or less space between messages. It’s more manageable to keep a constant thread going with someone rather than a sporadic flurry every few months on “fast messaging” services. Well done Raven.

Finally, a real reason to write a letter! It feels warm and personal with the bonus of being able to add a photo or video or voice memo! We all know that the fine art of letter writing is back and Raven is the place to do it. Even the anticipation of knowing a letter is headed your way is sublime. I have an urge to write all the people I love and then some!!!!

Correspondence has taken a delightful hilarious turn.. our family is loving it and being so creative compared to the normal text! I sent a normal text to my sister to tell her how great my next letter is and she said “you fast text me to tell me about your slow text?” Yes.. yes I did.. Many laughs to come!
FRIEND MODE! Make your world a little more fun by watching your friends' carriers move across the map (anonymously) wherever they're going.
And GOLDEN EGGS! Golden eggs have new special characters only available there. And there's a new currency GOLD to go along with the golden eggs! Have too many chickens? Trade some in for gold (in the carrier naming view) and get a new special carrier.
And lastly, we've added the ability to read the last letter sent to you while you're in compose mode so it's easy to respond fully to your friends' letters. Just open the + icon and then click on the chat bubble.
