Accessibility improvements - Tab bar, text fields, and tag selection now behave properly with VoiceOver. - Button animations respect Reduce Motion. Bug fixes - Push notifications respect “No thanks” consistently - Notifications weren't sending for many. Now it sends for many. - Fixed a crash when inserting @mentions in comments. - Quality of life improvements for the post and comment editor. Less lag, more responsiveness. This update won’t dazzle you, but it will treat you right. The feed was still slow, so we made it less so. Creating posts should feel less laggy. Welcome to 2026. We kicked off the year by poking at the app, squinting at some graphs, and making a handful of very small but very sensible changes. This update is… honestly pretty boring. There are no shiny new buttons, no bold redesigns, and nothing you can point at and say “wow.” What did happen is a bunch of performance improvements that make things faster, smoother, and less likely to do anything weird. This is a small update to - resolve a few bugs with multiple image uploads and - avoid always refreshing the feed screen as you navigate the rest of the app

Fixing yesterday's mistake today. This update resolves a bug where the post editor will sometimes "jump around" as you enter long text or #hashtags. It also handles some cases where the image may overlap text. This one was really hard to track down! It's almost Christmas and our resident developer is finding excuses to avoid family. Spoony is as good a reason as any. This update aims to - Improve image handling, especially when uploading multiple images. - We've moved the blocking feature server side. What does that mean? It means the app won't slow down if you have a giant block list. - Improvements to the post editor. Here's the first in a series of updates we have coming your way. iOS 26 compatibility The new Glass UI is rolling out on iOS 26, and we've made sure Spoony looks great while we evaluate it for future releases. Search is working like a charm With so many posts to search through, we've started rebuilding search. It's now more reliable and we have more updates incoming. Offline banner finally behaves We know the "You're offline" banner has been frustrating, especially on spotty WiFi. We can't fix your internet (if only!), but now you can manually retry and dismiss it. More reliable notifications No one likes being ghosted, especially not by their app. We've significantly improved notification delivery so you stay connected to your community.
