Lylac: A Home for Creatives
Lylac is a space for the next generation of creatives, designers, artists, architects, makers, thinkers.
A visual-first platform built around studios: living, evolving spaces where your work, references, process and ideas sit side by side. Not just finished outcomes, but the thinking behind them.
Whether you’re at art school, building your first portfolio, or shaping your creative identity beyond an institution, Lylac gives you a space to grow on your own terms, thoughtfully, seriously, and with others.
Build Your Studio
Create clean, flexible studios to organise your work, inspirations and process.
Your studio becomes more than a portfolio. It becomes a visual language, a way of showing how you think, not just what you make.
Work-in-progress, critique requests, or finished showcases, your studio moves with you.
Your Studio, On the Web
Make your studio public and it becomes a living personal website.
No domain fees, no hosting, no maintenance. Just your work, automatically updated as you post.
Share your studio as a link anywhere, from applications to social bios, and let it represent your practice in real time.
Discover Emerging Talent
Explore a landscape of studios across disciplines and tags.
Architects, graphic designers, illustrators, fashion students, photographers, digital artists, each building their own world within Lylac.
Connect in Ways That Feel Human
Save the work that resonates and organise it into your own studios.
Comment, respond, collaborate, give feedback. Create conversations that feel considered rather than performative.
Lylac isn’t built around chasing attention. It’s built around participation.
Collaboration, Built In
Open shared studios where multiple people can post, prototype and develop ideas together.
From two collaborators to an entire creative circle, Lylac makes working together feel natural again.
Grow Your Network Without Performing
Meet creatives who resonate with your discipline, aesthetic or philosophy.
No pressure to optimise yourself. No need to flatten your work into trends. Just genuine connection, built slowly and intentionally.
Search Across Disciplines
Use tags to move across the platform and explore deeply.
From typography to architecture to experimental fashion, follow your curiosity wherever it leads.
Privacy & Control
Your feed should feel like your own studio wall.
Filter what you see. Set your studios to public or private. Shape your creative environment deliberately.
No ads. No algorithms. Just a space to be yourself.
A Platform That Feels Like You Belong
Lylac brings together emerging creatives from places like Central Saint Martins, Parsons, RCA, RISD and independent studios around the world.
Built by creatives, for creatives.
Visually-led. Thoughtfully designed. Grounded in real connection.

Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
This update focuses on performance, stability, and giving you more control over your studio.
We’ve made a major upgrade under the hood: Lylac is now faster, more reliable, and better built for long-term scalability.
Studios now have more flexibility with premium layouts for Friends of Lylac, including Full Bleed Grid, Editorial, and Index, giving you greater control when shaping your portfolio.
We’ve also introduced the Editorial layout in-app (now aligned with Lylac Web Studios), alongside a new Full Bleed Column layout for a more immersive presentation.
Switching studio modes now includes confirmation, with subtle haptic feedback.
We’ve refined the layouts menu in studios for a cleaner experience, and made improvements and fixes to onboarding.
