While the game isn’t completely ad free as advertised this game does have a pretty long honeymoon phase of not showing you ads in between levels, I played several hours before it started occasionally showing me an ad for a different screw game in between its own levels which was just weird. But the game can actually be mostly played for free and is somewhat generous with coins, tools to help with puzzles, and ways to buy extra slots per puzzle without watching ads which is MILES better than every other screw sort game I have tried so far where they bombard you with ads or ask for you to buy in game currency for the extra boxes almost immediately in puzzle one or you cannot solve the puzzle. That being said, I’m only a day in so we’ll see if this is still the honeymoon phase and there’s a drop off later where coins become too scarce and ads or real money become demanded more frequently like other games did…. Hopefully not. There are lots of little pings on the home screen showing off purchase packs but those aren’t too intrusive so they’re fine. The one that says remove ads has me worried though. Does that mean it’s going to get worse? We shall see.

This used to be a really fun game to play and I got pretty good at it and most the time I only have to use two toolboxes to pass. With that said the developer has now updated the game to where it hides the colors that you need at the very end of the puzzle which forces you to spend your coin or watch ads. The game now also will give you a toolbox of the same color. You just previously cleared two or three times in a row leaving you stuck so then you watch an ad or you use your coin and then you clear a couple toolboxes and then it happens all over again, so by the time you get to the purchase of the fourth toolbox, you get stuck again and have to use your boosts. There was one level. I did all four toolboxes up on the board all different colors, and the only color that was on the outside of the globe was green and the four colors I needed were at the very center. This happens level after level after level and it is frustrating that you did this to the game because this game was fun funny and the graphics awesome I’ll still play it just not as much as I used to

I’ve exhausted my interest in playing this game. While I have enjoyed it, I am seeking to delete to redirect my attention and energy towards more useful activities for how to spend my time. Sometimes enough is enough. I noticed that removing the app does not delete your information. I followed the directions to delete my account via the app’s settings. A new window pops up displaying the “Account Deletion Policy.” In that same window it includes a link to the full policy, along with a checklist of disclaimer warnings regarding what account deletion entails. HOWEVER, I find it very strange that the “delete” button under this section is not even functional; which makes me wonder if it is intentional. Also, the checkbox field that starts with “I have read the “Account Deletion Policy”…. is also not functional. The only button you can select is “Cancel”. This defeats the entire purpose of having this section. I even tried clicking on the actual policy and retrying my steps. Essentially it is impossible to delete via this process, and I find that rather disconcerting. Hence the 3 star rating.

I used to love this game and was obsessed with it playing it all the time. What I loved most about it was that it was not timed and that if you needed one of those little helps (the tools at the bottom) like an extra box or a hammer or something like that, all you had to do if you didn’t have enough coins to buy it was watch an ad and you would get it. There was unlimited ads that you could watch to get extra coins so that you could get those things to help you through the level. Now it seems like they have taken that away and it only gives you five free coins and then that’s it and you have to wait so many hours to be able to get five more coins. At that rate, it will take you quite literally days to get one tool. If this doesn’t change, I’m deleting the game. There’s no reason to play it at all anymore if they’re gonna do that. The game used to be amazing and stand apart from most and I had shown so many friends and family members who also downloaded the game and started playing it too. But now, I’m gonna delete it and so are they if this doesn’t change right away. It isn’t worth it. If they change it back then I will make it a five star rating. Because that’s what it used to be.
