I’ve played for about a week now. What I’ve enjoyed is the link between completing my habits and building my character. Originally I struggled with not maintaining a habit because the connected reward was too distant (IE losing 10 lbs, or getting to know myself through journaling). With Becoming Fearless there is the instant positive feedback by gaining XP for your character. Also there is a difficulty to the game side too. The characters do become harder to beat so you need to add some strategy to playing the game which helps provide feedback to you to keep doing your habits (in order to beat more monsters).There are definitely bugs I’m sure the developer is working (saw and “ideas” area where people could voice their concerns) but overall I’d say it’s worth the try. 💪

So far, I’ve only used the free version to get a feel for the app before I decide to pay for a subscription. I think it could totally be worth paying for if you’re someone that needs to see the progress you’re making to stay motivated. Theres a lot of options for habits to build and break which is great since most apps focus on one habit alone like drinking water or walking. My only real gripe about it is that it’s not customizable to certain needs or lifestyles. I’m an overnight worker so I have to sleep during the day to keep my schedule, but the app makes you choose a wake up time as part of your habits to build and the only options are from 4am-12pm which is during the time I have to sleep so I can be up the rest of the night. It’s really only designed for people who have a daytime schedule which is why I say it’s not made for everyone. Otherwise, it’s pretty good.

The app has changed the way I think of my day to day!! As someone who has been looking for better ways to stay motivated and focused on day to day tasks that will improve my life, Fearless has done exactly that for me! The small rewards and level ups are satisfying and having my tasks all on one screen is great! It is helping me start and mold the daily habits I need to be doing as someone who struggles with mental health. The visuals of the app are aesthetic, and I’m highly interested in seeing even more development such as creating your own custom tasks and introducing more programs and character features hopefully in the future! I hope the devs keep up the great work and take Fearless and further!

This app has made a big difference in my life. I feel so much more motivated to accomplish my goals and can form the proper habits to do so because of this app. Although I am undiagnosed, I have always suffered from ADHD like symptoms that prevent me from forming the proper habits to succeed in life and this app helps so much. You can use it for any goal and situation because you get to choose the habits and rules. I’m always thinking of new habits that I can add so my experience is always getting better, but it’s not just me.
