Standly is a game changer. I've been using it for a few weeks, and it's really helped me stay active and focused. The app's super simple to use, and I love how it reminds me to get up and move at just the right moments. It's made my day feel a lot less sedentary, and I’m feeling a boost in energy. Highly recommend giving it a try if you want to shake up your routine!
Nice looking app, does the job, some improvements to be desired

I found this app from a redditor who mentioned Standly on a standing desk subreddit and so far this app has been of perfect use for me. After reading so many articles about standing desks and how long you should really stand for, I really needed some sort of timer dedicated to sit, stand, and breaks. At its core, Standly achieves this, however it’s not without its flaws. I feel like the notification behavior can be improved especially for those who aren’t using this on Mac and instead using it on an iPhone to compliment a work setup that isn’t very Apple friendly. I find myself constantly missing the cues to sit or stand or take a break because Standly doesn’t vibrate the phone or really push to notify me. I hope the developer keeps refining this so that users like me who use this as a companion app to my work life, can benefit fully from what Standly has to offer
Developer Response
Thank you for using Standly. We recently made a few improvements to the notification system. Version 2.80 will have those changes soon. We're looking into using time-sensitive notifications to better inform about switching intervals.
Simple and effective

I’ve tried other standing desk reminder apps, but Standly is the only one with a clean UI and no clutter. It doesn’t just remind me—it actually helps me build a habit of switching between standing and sitting.
Notifications Don’t Work – Defeats the Purpose

I really wanted to like Standly because the concept is exactly what I need for managing sit/stand intervals throughout my workday. The interface is clean and simple, and setup is straightforward.Unfortunately, the app does not send notifications when it’s time to switch intervals. I’ve double-checked notification permissions in iOS settings, made sure background app refresh is enabled, and confirmed alerts are allowed — but I still receive no alerts when it’s time to switch.Since the entire purpose of a sit/stand timer is to notify you when to change positions, this makes the app essentially unusable for me. If notifications were reliable, this would be a great productivity and health tool.Until this is fixed, I can’t recommend it.
Bug fixed and improvements.
