I decided to learn English to a native-speaker level about… 2 weeks before my trip. Yeah, I know… say nothing. I wasn’t sure at first if it’s safe to just talk to some AI like this tutor, like.. who knows if it's even speaking correctly? Yeah, I still don't really trust these AI stuff… but anyway, it’s actually kinda useful. The role-playing convos are pretty neat, I can practice ordering food or asking for directions without some human judging me, which is nice, feels kinda low key. I also really like that it’s not just random exercises, it actually shows rules and explains stuff, makes it way easier to remember than just drilling words over and over. Sometimes tho it gives weird suggestions and I end up double checking stuff. But yeah, overall it’s simple to use on my phone, and it helps me feel a bit more ready for when I actually talk to real people… hopefully I don’t sound too dumb.

I like that with this app I don’t have to worry about finding a real teacher's time that works for me. I can just talk to my tutor whenever I want even if it’s late night and I can just pick up my phone and start practice. The lessons feel really flexible and I can choose what I want to work on each day. I like the free talk and role=plays the most because it’s like having real conversations. And it’s much better than sitting in a classroom, and I feel I’m learning so much more this way! Overall, it makes speaking English a lot easier and fits perfectly into my daily routine!

I'm a night owl, so I like studying at night, now I chat with a tutor from fluentika on any topic and as much as I want. the app is convenient and intuitive, the bot recognizes my speech quite quickly. I also like that there is a summary at the end of the lessons. you can also ask the tutor to explain the rules to you until you understand, it's very convenient and simplifies learning.

I told this app that I am in advanced English speaker, but it gives me basics such as they save and burn out. I would still be OK with practicing speaking if it could actually record my speech. When I read “to play safe” it records “to please see.” even if it doesn’t understand my accent, it should still catch up on the basic sounds. “Y” doesn’t sound like “s” at all. Additionally, when I tried to have back-and-forth conversation the recording button for my speech, doesn’t always work (every 8th to 11th time) — it is super frustrating! if I could get my money back, I would just cancel it for good. It’s a shame that’s developers don’t let you try before purchasing it and charge you for a raw product.
