My husband and I are full time Overlander (ie. We have a home on wheels) so staying connected is important for our safety, security and sanity. We depend on Starlink for our WiFi but a global cell phone plan that was dependable, no extra or hidden costs, and that gave use global access/flexibility was what we lacked, until we got Popcorn. It has been excellent in the 6 months since switching our numbers from a traditional brand, and for the most part, we have been able to text/talk wherever we are in the world (so far we have been in Europe, but next month we’re in Asia) - all for a monthly fixed rate of $69/pm, NO EXTRA FEES. I love the personalized approach and connectivity to the Popcorn support team - outstanding. My only regret is that we did not switch to Popcorn sooner. Highly recommend for global or domestic travelers (anybody for that matter) that is tired of traditional plans that you can’t keep up with all the fees!

I’ve been using the service for the last four months between the US and the Caribbean and it works. Very pleased with it. It was definitely a good decision to sign up, which gives me consistent access to the best cellular data network across the phone providers in the territory. If I don’t like the automatic network selection of my device all I do is go in and manually select the network with the strongest signal based on my location on the island. Definitely worth it versus signing up for data with a single phone company to which I’d be locked in. This feature worked beautifully during and after the recent passing of Hurricane Melissa over Jamaica. As long as there is a phone service putting out cellular signal you’ll be able to log on. Never imagined it would have worked this well. Kudos to the Popcorn team!

I’ve been using Popcorn for about four months and have traveled extensively through Greece, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, the UAE, Singapore, and Indonesia. I don’t plan to stop there! The service has worked remarkably well. When I land, I simply turn on my phone, and within a minute, I have calling, texting, and data all set up and ready to go. There’s no need to do anything other than turn off airplane mode. Features like WiFi calling, VoLTE, visual voicemail, 5G, RCS, hotspot, and everything else I expect work flawlessly. The customer service is consistently prompt, and Neel, along with the rest of the team, is always a pleasure to chat with. I appreciate not having to juggle SIM cards or pay exorbitant rates per gigabyte of data. Most importantly, unlike other travel eSIMs, Popcorn allows me to keep my lifelong US number, making it even more convenient.

I have family and friends all over the world, and travel internationally a lot for work. In the past, I used local SIMs, and then eSIMs - but reliable coverage and functionality have always been a struggle. With the increase in 2-factor verification, being connected to my US number has grown critical. I signed up with popcorn about a month ago, and couldn’t be happier. I can call, text and use data seamlessly as I bounce from one place to the next - without paying a fortune. No need to switch lines or phone setting, nor worry that it won’t work. I now look forward to arriving in my next destination, confident that my phone will work (and knowing that IF there’s a hiccup, there’s someone to help me fix it swiftly).
