Later stages not good for relaxing

I hate this version
I didn’t think I could hate anything more than the cotton candy machines. Then I got to the soda whirlpools. I haven’t sworn at a game this much since Match Factory (which I deleted for going too hard in later stages). Anyway, wondering when you’ll add volume 9. If you have, it doesn’t show up for me.

Forced tutorials are an absolute bane to gaming

This game, like entirely too many other games, has a completely and utterly useless forced tutorial. I would love to see all developers that put forced tutorials into their games black balled from any form of software development. I just want to play the game. I don’t care about your daily rewards or special out of game features. I just want to play. Forcing me to interact with a tutorial for feature I do not care about makes games like this unplayable, because it literally WILL NOT LET ME PLAY. It is like being forced to go through a tutorial on how to create pivot tables in Excel because you need to type in just one cell. How hard is it to just put a little marker on the special feature and just let me go there myself when I am ready? Apparently completely impossible for developers like this. Which is why developers like this should be black balled from ALL software development. This all gets back to the developers caring more about forcing a certain experience regardless of if it is best for the game or the player. If an on rails experience is desired by the developer, then they need to stick to on rails game design. Otherwise what is best for the game and the player needs to take precedence over the developers on rails vision.

This is a great game to kill the boredom but I have a few gripes. #1 is the cloud syncing. EVERY TIME I open the app it asks which version is the most recent version and 100% of the time it’s the local version on my phone. On top of that, if I leave the app for one second to check a message, it has to load from the cloud I guess?? I’m not sure why this game is constantly trying to sync itself. #2 is the unskippable animations. They may be cute the first few times but not being able to skip or fast forward when I complete a puzzle with 30 moves left over or I get a grand flag and I have to sit and watch the guy fly around the flag twice and change it. It just feels unnecessary and slow. Last one is the buddy system. I find it confusing and overwhelming as to how many you get and what they all do. It has the gameplay of an idle puzzle game while having the lore/info of a roguelike. Don’t expect you to fix that but if you could fix the first two this would be 5 stars

First of all; I LOVE this game, the interface is clean and simple, the characters are so cute and the progression is satisfying, somewhat challenging without being too difficult. That being said, I wish the animation between levels & for buddies was quicker, interactive, or could be skipped, especially when I have a timed power boost I want to use it on as many levels as I can! I love seeing new buddy animations but after having the same ones for a while i want to skip and keep playing the level with no interruption

First of all; I LOVE this game, the interface is clean and simple, the characters are so cute and the progression is satisfying, somewhat challenging without being too difficult. That being said, I wish the animation between levels & for buddies was quicker, interactive, or could be skipped, especially when I have a timed power boost I want to use it on as many levels as I can!
