Basic no options Tetris as you expect, but my top issues are 1. the fact that you can silence the music but not the sound effects, 2. the sensitivity sometimes is too glitchy or too sensitive for me and it’ll drop blocks while I’m turning them - ability to adjust tap sensitivity would be a helpful accessibility feature, and 3. game mode options. I don’t think the sole game mode is random and being able to play different modes (random, challenge, marathon) would he nice.

NO ads. NO incessant requests for reviews. Does it reset your level to 1 if you close and reopen it? Yes. This is exactly the behavior you would get if you walked into the arcade and put a quarter in the machine. If you want to play with the sound completely off, put your phone on silent and detach headphones. If you want sound effects but no background music, go in the settings and uncheck music. Hate the color scheme? Change it! Want to play with buttons instead of swipe? You got it. The only option I would add is some kind of continuous mode where the speed stays constant and the level gets pushed down - like a pez dispenser - so that I don’t have to feel anxious about losing. I mainly play while processing trauma if I’m away from therapy and have a painful flashback. Developer: your app is worth more than $0.99! Thank you!!

I really love this game, it feels so similar to an old Tetris game I used to play on iPhone, but there are a few issues I have with the game. First, and other people have said this, there are no options to turn the sound completely off, and the clicking of the blocks is pretty distracting. Second, the controls are a little weird, and some delicate maneuvers are impossible to pull off because the moment any piece makes contact with another, they lock into place. When the pieces start moving faster this becomes an even greater issues because you literally cannot react at all in time to rotate the pieces before they lock in place. Other than those things though, this game is great, and absolutely worth it!

The official Tetris app used to be my go to for on the go Tetris, but ever since they changed owners and updated it it’s been nothing but ads and bloat and playing it was a miserable experience.This game brings back what I miss about the original app, just clean and fast Tetris whenever I feel like playing. It’s not too flashy, but that’s okay. It’s just Tetris and that’s all it needs to be. I agree with other people that it needs a way to save your high score, but I’d also like to see a way to save blocks for later like in modern Tetris versions. Other than that, this is worth the money if you want Tetris without all of the extra stuff.
