What's there works pretty OK. The barcode scanner struggles to focus at times. The real issue is there is. On way to manually add ammo, especially if the barcode doesn't return anything. Once added, you can't edit the entry, adjust mistakes or anything.

Good while it lasted

Got a new phone and it crashes, saved the data and now cant recover it in the app after reinstalling, all my progress and inventory wasted unless I enter everything manually somewhere else. Developer took care of it and got it fixed

Love the app, just wish it had a bit more customizability. Could you let us add ammo without needed to scan the box? Some of my ammo I throw into pouches and no longer have the box with barcode. Other than that the app is pretty solid

Really Like the App, however…

Everything with this app is fantastic and I’ve been able to add every box of ammunition I have EXCEPT for ammunition without a bar code. I have several 9mm plastic cases that I can load and store rounds of ammunition in and according to the app description I should be able to point my camera at the case with the lid open and it will inventory what is there. I cannot for the life of me find or figure out how this is accomplished. The only thing I have been able to do is scan barcodes on brand new boxes of ammunition. Maybe I’ll get a reply from the app creator with more instruction. Other than this issue, which I consider to be pretty big, the app is great. Let me know how to fix this issue and I’ll give the app a full 5 stars.

Thanks for your review! The ammo detector only works for boxes that are already in your inventory, so if you have a box without a barcode, you’ll need to add it manually first. When you open the scanner, there’s a button on the pop-up (part of the text: “No barcode, click here”) that lets you enter box details manually. Once the box is in your inventory, the detector can be used to track rounds inside it.I appreciate your feedback and will consider ways to make this clearer in the app. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
