Has potential but

I couldn’t bypass that opening intro without it crashing several times. When it actually works it takes you directly into camera mode which is great, I just want quick access and the intro is not helping. Once you’re in camera mode you realize you can’t preview the premium films at all before purchase, in which the payment screen will pop up. There’s an X to close it but it doesn’t work and I have to close the app entirely each time while just trying to check out if this is worth buying. When I finally got around to applying filters to gallery photos, it doesn’t let you preview that either. It’s just saves it for you automatically with the filter and you can take a closer look at the export in your phone gallery. Not a fan of that. I really liked the preview-able films which feels rich enough for when you need something quick on your phone, but I can’t justify buying it with such a flawed app. Hoping for improvements then I’ll be back for sure.

Love the filmica gold simulation for stills and the VHS and 16mm video camera. You can use the app directly or upload pictures already in your photoroll which is very convenient. Perfect to spice up instagram stories.
