Link: Stay Connected Without the Internet Key Features: Offline Messaging: Use Bluetooth to send messages to people nearby (up to 330 feet or 100 meters). No Contacts Needed: Instantly start chatting with nearby Link users—no need to add contacts. Private Chats: Start private one-on-one conversations after connecting in the Public Chat. Admin Channels: Manage groups with tools like polls to gather input and organize efficiently. Location Sharing, Emergency Alerts, and Voice Notes: Share your location, send critical alerts, or record voice messages—all without the Internet. How to Get Started: 1. Turn on Bluetooth, and make sure location services are activated on your device 2. Open Link, while making sure you are connected to the Internet (this is only required the first time, to activate the app). 3. Grant Bluetooth and Location permissions when the app asks you. 4. Once you’ve logged in, select a contact from the Nearby list to share private messages or open Public Chat to message every other Link user nearby. Once inside Public Chat, you can tap someone’s avatar to start a private chat. Note: Public Chat messages are visible to everyone nearby using Link.
